People who have done this cruise in the past say that they have had customs officials come aboard in a Canadian port and then do all the passenger checks onboard. Hope it's the case this time as I'm onboard as well.

If you book before boarding there is a promo appeared today giving 15% off of internet packages, just go into your cruise personaliser. I'm on an Aurora 30 night in September so have gone in and cancelled my original booking and rebooked with the 15% off. I assume it's across all ships and departures but I guess you only find out if you go into personaliser. Just a thought---I wonder if they might do this for drink packages?.

On Regal now and your description is spot on.

Currently on Regal and would make a couple of comments 1) On formal/celebration nights in mdr 70% of people were casual the rest mostly in suits and a very few in dj/tux. 2) Last night was fillet/lobster in the mdr and there was a 10 dollar charge if you wanted extra.

The advert for the new 'alcohol free package' says that alcohol free wine is included. I've had a look at the P&O bar menus that I can find and I cannot see mention of alcohol free wine on any of the menus. Am I missing it?. Can anyone confirm if such wines do exist on board.

Looking at the deck plan would that be cabins from 10602 thru to 10633, they do seem to be bigger on the plan.

Looking at the deck plan the deck 9's forward seem to all have bigger balconies--is that right?. Also, did you experience any noise from deck 8 below?.

We are booking the 35 night Caribbean in Jan 2025 when it goes on sale. Given that we will be in the cabin for such a long time I would appreciate peoples thought on what balcony cabin, be it standard or deluxe (not conservatory), they would pick for this longer cruise.

So, more sea days than on the Ventura equivalent.

I understand that some of the standard (not superior/conservatory) balcony cabins on Iona have much larger balconies. Is this correct and, if so, can anyone advise what their numbers are and if there are any drawbacks with them. Many thanks.

Did a quick search and it seems the station is very close to where the ship docks, trains seem to run every 15 minutes or so, the journey is only about 20 minutes and the price is around 10 euro return. Seems a good alternative to the Princess shuttle---anyone know how much they charge?.

Presume you have never been on Iona as you cannot hear them via the tv.
