  1. Park Cafe also has coffee on deck 9.
  2. Generally, the teen areas are only for age groups that are listed. There are quite a few ping pong tables and other sporting type activities up on sports deck that are available to anyone.
  3. Nope! You can however buy a package for 24 hours.
  4. Once you sign up for the thermal spa, you go whenever you want to. Within the hours it's open. You don't need to make a reservation.
  5. If they do a family show, It's in the afternoon in main theater. If it's in the comedy club it's usually adults only.
  6. 1). You will be fine dressed that way for any meal. 2) You can have the concierge book you or you can book your first day on board. 3) I found the food to be very good. Save room for the dessert. It's all good!
  7. Guess that they wanted to avoid antibodies typically not found in men vs women who develop during pregnancy etc. They generally try to gender match when transfusions are necessary when possible.
  8. Slightly off topic but the truffle and eggs pizza is really delicious! Definitely worth a try, pleasantly surprised by how much we liked that one!
  9. @harryfat1 You just made my night! Your Cheapo dad trip reviews are fantastic! Reading and so informational. Doesn't hurt that I might be a recovering numbers addict too! Keep posting! There are a lot of us out here that look forward to your threads. Would be nice to have the links to some of your previous reviews for the folks that are not familiar with them. If you don't get another cruise planned soon, I might start campaign to send you back on the water just for the enjoyment factor of the posts that come out of it!
  10. You can definitely get a scooter through the door. I ended up having to go on my last cruise with a knee walker. I wished I would have ordered the scooter. A wheelchair is going to be very difficult, especially if you have to push it. I had a tremendous amount of trouble with the knee walker because a lot of the roads in ports were not smooth and after the second stop I gave up getting off. And I'm young, relatively healthy and in good shape. It was more than I could do. I would have totally done the scooter over the knee walker or a wheelchair.
  11. Where is your cruise departing and traveling to?
  12. We really enjoyed Samba. It does take a strategy to pace yourself, but we really enjoyed the experience and the various meat options. The salad bar and sides were good but you don't go there for that! Also agree with the prior post, 150 Central Park is probably the best restaurant on board. Always a fantastic experience and great service. The Chateau for two is our go-to! Izumi is also very good both hibachi and table dining. Agree with Sabor. It's not our favorite, but it's a good alternative for lunch or a snack after a port day.
  13. If you're on a ship with the freestyle Coke machines, there are tons of sugar-free sparkling water options, sugar-free, Powerade, sugar-free, punch, etc.
  14. I saw this posted today and figured I would share. You don't need a passport but it sure is nice to have. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wtsp.com/amp/article/news/local/pascocounty/zephyrhills-cruise-ship-medical-emergency/67-7085eac9-a9f0-44db-afb6-c48c0e61d14d
  15. We normally drive in and stay at a hotel near the airport and then fly out the day before our cruise. We like the fact that we don't have to stress and get up super early in the morning for a first flight out in the morning. Although we live near the Atlanta airport, you never know with traffic how long it'll take to get you there and I just don't want to start off my vacation that way! So we drove in to the airport on a Friday night after work and sat down at the bar to order a drink. I can't find my driver's license. I have my passport but not my license. I'm in a complete panic. I realized I had gone to the bank and didn't put it back in my wallet and it was sitting in my car in my garage. I know I could cruise without the license but I was afraid of not having it for other purposes. We drove an hour home, turned around and drove an hour back to the hotel and we were finally able to get a drink and I never used my license the entire week! Fast forward next year, husband's getting on me about making sure I have my driver's license. I had had ankle surgery and was using a knee walker. We get to the hotel. We enjoy our evening and kind of laugh about the previous year's missing drivers license. Next morning it's about 5:00 a.m. we're at the park and ride waiting for the shuttle bus and I asked my husband where is my luggage? He didn't grab it. It's at home. I have only one change of clothes with me. My husband did not load my bag into the car the previous night even though it was sitting in the hallway. I didn't realize it because I couldn't carry anything. We rush home grab the bag rush back to the airport. Husband is so upset. Thankfully was the first flight out of the day and they were able to rebook us on the next flight because there was no way I was going to be able to get through security on knee walker in 20 minutes at Atlanta. Thankfully it was the first flight out in the morning and it gave us a chance to have them mimosa and breakfast before taking the next flight to Florida. We are both experienced travelers. Things happen! I'm so glad Op was able to make their cruise!
