Thanks to all for your help and suggestions on a charter to JVD and White Bay. Good new! I have sent in a booking form to Chillout Charters for a charter that will pick us up close to the cruise terminal and take us over to Jost Van Dyke, stay with us and bring us back by 2pm for a 3pm all aboard. The cost is obviously more expensive than the Royal excursion but split between 4 couples should be fine. Hoping everything goes smoothly as I usually don't book third party excursions but this had great reviews and they were close to the cruise ship.

Time to vent and rant. I AM SO MAD AND UPSET. When I got this email from Royal. This excursion was the sole reason I booked this cruise I have tried to go to JVD on two different Royal cruises. The first one the whole cruise got cancelled due to the pandemic. Now this excursion is cancelled due to the vendor cancelling it. I am on this cruise with @jmh2006, @Husky1987, @Momof3gurlz and @mo&fran and we all booked this excursion. Now we are trying to see if we can book a charter boat to take us. The problems we have are the fact the ship is only in Tortola from 7am-3am. So time is of an essence. No time for Ferries, No time to taxi to the West End Tortola to pick up a boat we must find one out of Road Town and we must have the boat stay with us for 3-4 hours and take us back. Researching now. I hope we can find something. I've got two emails out to companies and waiting to hear back. As Captain Lee would say, "I'm madder than a pissed on chicken."

Forgot to take pictures of our really fun Tiki Patio Party last Saturday night with 3 other neighborhood close couples. I did take a video of the outdoor lighting I did to enhance the mood. You can’t hear it well but I did have a tiki music playlist playing exotica from Martin Denny and Les Baxter. Also not seen was a tv that was playing a 3 hour video loop of famous tiki bars, and Polynesian pop images. Here is the video. You can skip around as the first two images are very long. I also made up a batch of a tiki cocktail called the Monkey’s Eyebrow in my new Sea Dog Tiki Bar engraved bottle. It has a mermaid on the front with lettering on the back that says Sea Dog Tiki Bar.

So last night we watched this week’s episode of Below Deck Down Under. I had heard through social media and even some national News stories on what happened so I knew going into it what was going to happen. I guess that’s the problem with watching the show later than it’s airdate. All I can say is WOW! What an intense episode. I am really happy how Captain Jason and Aiesha handled everything. Kudos to the producer who is supposed to stay out of sight and not interfere do the opposite. Do I think Luke is a serial rapist? No but what he did was so over the line he deserved to be fired. I never liked Laura from day one. Her arrogance and self entitlement was nauseating. Hopefully Gary from BD Sailing was watching. He is just about as bad or maybe worse than Luke in crossing the line for sexual harassment. Not too excited while watching the preview of the second half of the season to see Jao come onboard. I don’t care for him either. And why is he coming in as a bosom? I thought he got his Captains license?
