  1. Next week will be my second cruise as Diamond. I enjoyed spending time in the DL for happy hour and having some cocktails and snacks pre dinner. I will be disappointed if I can no longer do that.
  2. I looked at last weeks sailing on the app which is the same itinerary as ours. There are apparently new entertainers this week so it remains to be seen whether we will have new entertainers or the ones listed last week.
  3. I am assuming she is referring to Adventure as this is my sailing on 10/21. Not everyone knows the abbreviations.
  4. Adventure does not have a special dedicated space for just comedians. George Kantor and El Gaucho are the headliners who do comedy will be in the Royal Theater.
  5. I did not know once you reach Pinnacle you get a free cruise. That’s great. I don’t think we will ever get to Pinnacle but as Diamonds we would to at least get to Diamond Plus.
  6. True. I was just saying you could get a Chops steak without paying more just to eat in Chops.
  7. Or if you wanted a Chops experience in the MDR just order the Chops Filet for $19.99.
  8. I was never a sports person as I was a musician as a young child and never played sports let alone watch them. Imagine my surprise after changing careers and my first broadcast job as a cameraman was shooting sports. I quickly learned and ended up shooting a lot of games of the KC Chiefs. Our station had the coaches show in the 1980’s so I covered the Chiefs on all their home and away games even flying on the team plane for 12 years. I got to know and develop friendships with a lot of the players. I learned a lot about the game. People ask about going to a game. I tell them I’m not interested. I saw the game every weekend on the sidelines. Why would I want to sit in the stands. Now I prefer to watch on television. I can see more. My wife is amazed that I can anticipate a particular play or see a penalty right before the ref throws the flag. It’s been fun lately.
  9. I was 125-135 most of my life till I turned 40. Then my metabolism just turned off. I am also 5'7" and probably a lot shorter than you.
  10. My goal was to lose 12 pounds before the cruise. I'm at 200 pounds. I weighed 250 before my right knee replacement. I want to get down to 175 eventually and get off blood pressure meds.
  11. Fantastic! Give us a scouting report on everything. Looking forward to joining you on October 21st. How’s your taste coming along?
