Not that this is a guarantee it won't tender but I looked up our b2b dates in January on cruise mapper and neither none should be tendered there are less ships in port on those days than there are berths
We are on b2b in January on the Breakaway and was not aware of the tender ports but I do see them listed on the main NCL page. They are not listed in our itinerary as tender ports and we have never had to tender in Roatan and only once in Cozumel. So thinking they may be tendered if too many ships in port.
Thanks for the info we are looking at the Joy or Bliss so it will be the new locks. We live in AZ so we are considering LA to Miami but need to check into the ports more.
We are looking to do a Panama canal cruise in 2024 and wondering if it matters to go east to west or west to east? They both have the same ports so is one way better then the other? thx
Couple reasons, the first couple cruises post covid that is where the quarantine cabins where and I have been to the medical center for a fall that I had on the ship years ago so just don't want to be near it.
We try not to book our cabin on the deck where the medical center is located. I can't find it on the Escape deck plans does anyone know which deck it is on? Thx
Go to ncl.com/certificate for the conditions. certificate holder must be present or ncl will charge full fare. Take a chance if you want but make sure you have a credit card that has enough to cover the fare.
The certificate holder MUST check in for the cruise to be comped. If not the person that does show up will pay the full going rate. Call CAS to verify.
At least you had some advance notice of the change. A few years ago in October we were on a Mexican cruise out of LA. We were not notified of our itinerary change until we boarded and left port that because of a hurricane down South we would be going to San Francisco and San Diego instead. We packed for warm weather instead we were in chilly weather but still had a great time and made the best of it.
It looks like there might be more talk between NCL & NYC. in an interview a few days ago with Del Rio he stated if the price is right he will charter one of the ships. Some reports are stating now is that NYC still wants to talk with NCL about chartering.
At one time the talk was with the Breakaway and in a few weeks it's heading down to NOLA so 6 months total commitment from Ncl on 1 ship will usually effect more than 1 port and lots of passengers
Just read Today that NCL cost is more than the city wants to spend so as of right now the Mayor said the idea is scrapped since the city has Better deals.
They add hot sauce, Worcester, lemon, lime, spices and they will put as much spice and hot sauce as you want. After the 1st day the bartender knew exactly how I liked mine.
