Do you have a drink package? Can you advise if the price of drinks has gone up and what is the maximum that a drink pkg covers for those with a pkg? ($12 or $13) on IOS?
I was charged $2 for a $16 glass of wine at the casino bar. Same wine was $17 at chops. Saw it for as low as 15 too. It was different anywhwre you go on board

Thanks! We have enjoyed. He was in love with cruising but that came to a but of a halt last night bevause we hit crazy swells and winds of around 45 mph. The ship has been moving side to side and up and down for almost 24 hours. I have personally seen 5 people throwing up on the floor of the ship on the promenade and windjammer. We both agreed that having our (some very nervous) guests cruise when we cannot control the weather is a bad idea. We will be doing an all inclusive in DR instead. He has said he will cruise again so thats good!

We loved the scenery. We stayed at Ocean Sky resort the day before tge cruise. It was only $150 and it had a pool, restarant, tiki bar and mini golf. It was great and a wonderful.valuehttp://[/url]

Hi all! Im on my last night! We had a great flight into FLL on Wednesday but heard about the tragic incident while on board. So sad!! It easily could have been us!
The ship is beautiful. When we got to the room we laid in the bed and found it super comfy!! I went to check the matress and realized we had an egg crate topper. My fiance felt that without the topper it would have been tough! I never had to use our portable air mattresses so thats great!
We had priority booking in Port Everglades in the Platinum waiting area. We arrived to the port at 10:45 and were on by 11:20. They called our lounge before the gold and new waiting areas.
I had no problem getting robes. Our room was ready at 1pm and we walked in and met out steward at that time. I asked for two robes and they were in our cliset that night.

Thanks! Just a quick clarification because I find this stuff confusing :) I don't need to contact Verizon to get an international/cruising/mexico plan because I'm doing Voom, right? So as long as I am ok with using wireless I can use WhatsApp for texting or calls and then just get in on the wireless for any other internet use. I just wouldn't have any service on land unless Chakanaab has free wireless. Is that right?

Hi! So my guy and I both have WhatsApp and use that to call and text each other because it doesn't count against our plans. We have the 2 device Voom surf and stream. Does anyone know if WhatsApp is good on board and if that is a reliable way for us to communicate? I also would love to have my sister download it so I can talk to her while on board about my mom. Thanks for any info!

My apologies for being off topic but you really should consider removing your personal pictures from your signature. Beside the risk of posting such pics on a public website, having them on every post is really redundant.
No problem for being off topic! 😊 In the world of social media personal pictures are everywhere and Im ok with that. I do sincerely thank you for your concern. I actually turn off signatures for this site on my phone. At home I like to see everyones pictures but on my cell it takes forever to load! Happy cruising!

We are newly "platinum" and have a cruise coming up in February. I don't recall getting an email recently about benefits. Am definitely interested in any discounts available to a Jr. Suite upgrade from our balcony cabin.

See thats why I love CC! Lol the email specifically stated a private departure lounge for platinum but I have never heard of a platinum lounge for departure! The benefits arent much more than gold except for the balcony discount. Plus we always wear robes so not having to pack them would be awesome! I would also love priority boarding in a private lounge but doubted that right away. We dont live together yet so he is a lowly noob for now lol

Hi! So I got an email from RCCL telling me about my platinum benefits. Does my fiance get priority boarding with me? Is there a platinum lounge at Ft. Lauderdale? Also can I email someone to request robes or do I have to do that when I meet my steward?

Hi! So we have a usd credit card. Do we have to check either of the options on the set sail pass to have royal or our card convert our credit card charges? They shouldn't be converted anyway but is there something I should choose?

Hi! So I am doing our check in online. It asks for my mobile number including my country code. I have no idea what they mean. I know the regional code is my area code but does anyone know what I would put for a US country code for my mobile phone?
Also I had a mini heart attack last night. We decided to wait until after the cruise to get my guy his passport due to him moving and it taking a while to sort through so many boxes looking for paperwork for it. He has a certified birth certificate from the vital statistics department in the city he was born in and it has the raised seal. It lists his name, city of birth, date of birth and both parents names and states. It's shorter than mine although we were born 12 years apart and different towns here have different certificates. I had read something on here that you would have issues getting on with short birth certificates but I've called twice and been assured twice that we will be fine. Anyone have experience with this? It's too late to get any replacement bc unfortunately.

I just looked through all my Cruise Compasses and I don't see a white hot party. I've read that some weeks there are and some weeks there aren't. Not sure if this is true or how it gets decided. There are music and live bands everywhere, so you'll totally be able to find some good dancing music! The only night time open deck party I see is on Day 3, Labadee, from 10pm-1am with a few different bands and DJs on the pool deck. It was called "Dancing Under the Stars" and was themed so people wore "Tropical Attire". Hope this helps somewhat!

Op can you tell me if there was a white party? Thats usually held on the deck late at night with a dj and everyone dresses in white. If not that did they have other open deck dance parties? My fiancee is an amazing dancer so I would love to squeeze this in!

I really hope thats for the holiday sailing. Guess I better start studying the list to see what else I would like. I refuse to pay above and beyond the package. Such ridiculous nickel and diming! I especially liked the plan because my favorite wine was included. Its like grabbing milk at the grocery store at a sale price and getting to the register and finding out they just bumped the price up. Annoying.

I was on the 17th until 26th. The old wine lists and menus until the 23rd
New one after that
We only paid upcharges on expensive wine at Vintages. We were surprised when Kim Crawford was no longer on the package but we found other wines

Thank you for the info. Is Kim Crawford off the menu now? Or is the price higher? I cannot access your menus on my phone. KC is my go to wine as I find most Californian sauv blancs not citrusy enough. I will be very sad to hear its gone but Id rather know beforehand.

Quick opinions needed please! Empress or Enchantment?

Hi all! So my bestie and I always do a land all inclusive vacation for our yearly girls trip. She has finally agreed to try a cruise. I think she is the perfect cruiser so I know she will enjoy. I have not been on either Enchantment or Empress. They go for 4 nights to Key West and the Bahamas out of Miami in February. All things equal, which would my fellow cruisers pick? Also feel free to give me your opinions or tips on either! I think I read that Enchantment was going to be refurbished in December but unsure if that's true.
