We are happy to hear that @ger_77 was able to find suitable flights. We are sitting in a very quiet maple leaf lounge in Calgary, enjoying spring rolls, and adult beverages.
The holiday has officially started. Barcelona, here we come.

That’s a fine picture of you. I looked at the menu we’re being served on AC’s Monday flight to Frankfurt, looks the same as yours.
Wow, lucky you, Amatller chocolate, delicious. We may tour the Casa Amatller this week.- 4

Two different menus.
Yes, obviously.

On Clay Clayton’s thread I asked him today about ordering ahead of time, he said yes, it’s necessary and he included a vegetarian menu, which is very different than the Indian menu.

It’s been enjoyable to share your cruise. You post valuable information and great photos. I’m almost tempted to pack my water color pencil crayons, but my skill level is very amateurish. Although, it would be a great place to practice/improve.
Sad/interesting about the food, except Indian, not being warm enough. - Was it necessary to order the Indian food the day before?

Clay Clayton, who cruised recently, implied that you needed to order the Indian meal the night before. Or perhaps I read it wrong. He reported in his live thread that the food was delicious.
We are looking forward to these meals. Thanks for posting.

My daughter also tried to get the OBC as she teaches spec ed. But was told that it doesn't include Canadian teachers.
Yes, unfortunately. The offer wasn’t valid for anyone outside US.

We complained to HAL about the inconvenience of a change from FLL to MIA since our flights are out of FLL. After I wrote to them with my reasons they offered us free transfers to FLL, on the 19th.
Congratulations, good for you. We’ve complained through our travel agent, and so far, no results. It might be time to “push” again.

Did anyone from Canada get the form to work?

That sounds like a fun trip. I’m looking forward to reading about your experiences. Thanks in advance for sharing your journey with us. Hopefully you can find out about the elusive Indian menu.

Apparently in the past, you asked for that menu. Rogerjett has a few examples on his website.

Has anyone who has cruised after the Covid shutdown asked for an Indian menu in the MDR?

We have the large bottles on the wall

But I find the lotion very weak.
That’s exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks.

Thanks for all the photos, but especially the bread pudding.

The best bread pudding was on the breakfast menu in the MDR every morning. Other than that it was available almost everyday at lunch at the Rise station n the Lido
I commented “tongue in cheek”, as @VMax1700 is noted for his decadent bread pudding photos. I’ll have to check out the mdr breakfast version in November. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yes, those menus have many nice choices. I’m getting worried because I haven’t seen a bread pudding photo lately.

Thanks for all the valuable information. You provided us with tips and insight for our upcoming cruise on Oosterdam. It’s sure disappointing about the specialty coffee counting as 3 drinks in the signature beverage package.
When you talked about adding the extra shot, was that alcohol or their flavored sweetener?

Wishing you a wonderful cruise with smooth seas. I looking forward to your daily insights and photos.

Does it show that you have specialty dining credits to use? I booked them 5 months out on my iPad. Yet when I open my Navigator ap, it still shows I have dining credits available. Then when I look at my schedule on Navigator, each reservation is shown.

We are also sailing in October out of Barcelona, and will be having a stop in Greece so, Princess Cruise lines states we are to get an Antigen
test within 2 days of sailing but has to be an in person test no online proctor test.
Can anyone please tell me where we could get one near the Montjuic area?
I went to google maps and searched for Covid testing. A location very near our hotel showed up. You can also email your hotel for suggestions.

At least that Gala/Dressy meal looks more upscale than the last one.
….brilliant idea to share the huge Tomahawk( aka giant hunk of beef) !
Have you been able to see if there’s a daily alternative Indian menu available in the MDR?

We’ve been here a few days now, seeing a few sites new to us, Egyptian Museum, Chocolate factory ( amazing chocolate work) ,Cuitadella Park, El Borne center de Cultura, two dinners with @ger_77, one at Colom, where the seafood platter happily fed two of us.
