  1. 4 of us took a taxi from the pier to Nachi Cocum. There are a couple of other all inclusive places like this, but based on Trip Advisor reviews, chose this one. We booked directly with the company online. The beach was very nice. There's a pool too, but we didn't use it. The drinks, with alcohol or without flowed freely. Beach chairs with shade or sun were open for the guests( perhaps 20 of us in total). The price of $50, included unlimited drinks, beach chairs, towels and a meal where we could choose from a list, an appetizer, a main and a dessert. All delicious. The bathrooms were clean too. A guy in a small boat asked if we'd like to snorkel with a guide. For 4 of us it was $100 and we went to two reefs. A great day. When you read through TAdvisor reviews, you'll see that some places are more for families and some for party animals.

  2. We did and the experience was fantastic. We wrote a review on Trip Advisor, but I'll give you a few highlights.

We'd emailed them a few times, and they were prompt and professional with their replies. They knew were were coming by cruiseship and depending which hydrofoil we could get from Naples, an approximate time we'd be there.

We walked to their bright yellow awning, which was very visible.

The boat captain filled a cooler with beverages and we were off, just the two of us as passengers. The boat itself was beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. There aren't seats, but a large padded platform for laying, fluffy towels and pillows to keep you covered if it's too breezy. Other boats may be set up differently. The captain gave us history of the area and knew where the most photogenic spots were. I loved going into each of the various grottos. It was too choppy, so tours weren't going into the blue grotto. We were happy with the others anyway. Rather than going back to the pier, we were dropped off at the blue grotto " docking" area and it was very handy from there to catch a bus to explore the rest of the island, thus avoiding the lineup to catch the lift. We would highly recommend this company. They even helped with lunch reservations. It was a perfect day.

  3. We were in a RS on the Constellation in April. We ate a lunch in Tuscan Grille and another in Ocean Liners. At the end of our meal in Ocean Liners, we were given a bill . I asked if it was included, told "no" and signed the receipt. Upon checking with Gareth in Micheal's Club, the charge was reversed.

I would imagine that all the kinks are worked out by now and that staff in the specialty restaurants knows of the new policy. Enjoy.

  4. We were in a RS on Constellation this past April. The Internet was slow most of the time. We each had our iPads set up and it was very nice not to worry about the speed. We didn't inquire about our unused Elite minute packag. However, we were able to swap out the bottles of alcohol/ wine for ones that we preferred.

    Enjoy.

  5. We booked tickets, headsets and tower online and were glad to have the headsets. If I had to do it all over again, I would have skipped listening to the descriptions of the outside of the church and concentrated on the inside. The outside is beautiful, but the inside impressed me more.

The entrance line to pick up your tickets is on Carrer de Sardenya, sort of the back of the church.

We completely agree. The headsets were wonderful and explanations were thorough. There are books/information available in the gift shop if you wish to read more. We also had read Rick Steves before we went but didn't bring his book into the church.

  6. We were there for only one of the three formal nights. Most men had jackets. There were a few with ties. There were a few tuxes too. Ladies wore cocktail dresses and a few wore fancy pant suits. (Constellation, April 22)
