  1. I have been in that cabin on the Quest and noise was not an issue. Sometimes you get vibration at full speed, but it never bothered us
  2. I do. I’m just conditioned to feel cheap by doing so 🤷‍♀️
  3. The difficulty is that when they bring you the slip to sign at the end of the meal in the specialty restaurants, there is a tip line, creating (at least for me) kind of an uncomfortable moment. It’s the same in the spa, even though they clearly already add a tip!
  4. Thanks, Phil, that’s exactly what I planned to do, figuring that at least I could get some OBC for booking onboard (assuming I can make something work)! I have another cruise in October, so I’ll try it then 🤞
  5. All but my TA’s OBC showed up right away. My TA’s OBC showed up a day or two into the cruise
  6. After my next cruise, I will be moving to Discover, giving me 4 “complimentary” nights. From what I am hearing, I am unlikely to be able to use them on anything other than possibly a very short cruise. Is that about right?
  7. In my experience, the Patio has not always been open for dinner. I am really hoping that it will be on our upcoming cruise!
  8. You can also order other cocktails, such as martinis, Manhattans, mojitos, etc. Just ask to be made with included spirits.
  9. Could also mean your cruise is now sold out?
  10. If not, at 33 days out, you might want to contact your TA to see what’s going on.
  11. There will be a tip line on the check when you sign for the meal, but you are under no obligation to tip
  12. Yikes! At least my weather is fairly normal for this time of year! Stay safe!
  13. If you mean, for example, that the French Chefs Table menu never varies, I am with you there. I have had it twice and from what I have seen, the menu is the same as when I first had it 5 years ago.
  14. Well, SHE practically danced across the finish line Lol!
  15. I think I heard that a lot of people dropped out! It's a very popular race, for which you have to register in advance, so lots of people at the start. I only finished because it was my first marathon, so I was determined, and my lovely, 20 years my junior training partner, practically dragged me across the finish!
  16. I DO have a cruise coming up very soon, which is making all of this tolerable! On the other end of the spectrum, I once ran a local marathon, where the temperature at the finish was in the high 80’s (f) and this was only late May. The next year, they made a high temperature regulation to prevent competitions in those conditions. It was pretty bad!
  17. I really appreciate all the work you put into this!
  18. This was the temp (Fahrenheit) this morning. And I can’t imagine skiing at -40!
  19. This is Fahrenheit (-25 Celsius). We’re not leaving the house!
  20. There are bound to be glitches, but fingers crossed 🤞!!
  21. It seems like forever to me too. And I wish you all the best on your upcoming cruise.
