We were going to do the same and take a late flight out the night we arrived but there were no options to YVR. I know you usually fly to and from there. Emirates out of SEA OR LAX were not an option as i was not paying and upcharge of 1500 pp to fly them. Our flight home is on BA and leaves at 10 am the last day.
On our first visit to Dubai we arrived early morning the day before embarkation and arranged a private tour with 2 other couples from CC. On this trip we will take a shore excursion of either a dune ride or a walking tour of the old city and that will be enough of Dubai for me. To me it is a place of very tall architectuarily interesting buildings and lots of sand, not much more.

Need people on this cruise for meet and mingle. Since have a full ship, must be people out there, please sign up.
-
They have done small groups on our artic cruise (June 2019). I can’t see any difference between times and what you are seeing. Will be interested to see what people report.

We did not get this email. Checked and see we do have these options on Artic cruise June 15 2019.

Bruges is magical!

:D
Franck. He was simply great. We had only one down jacket for both of us so he gave us a warm Regent jacket. We both were toasty for all the northern tours. ( we had purchased sweats in Copenhagen because no luggage had arrived at the Marriott).I was really pretty banged up yesterday when I fell and my scooter fell on top of me. Bad cut on my leg and lots of bruises elsewhere.
We are in Amsterdam today. Not able to tour but we have been here several times before.
Looking forward to being on the plane tomorrow and flying home.
It’s been quite a journey for us.

Peggy, Wes and everyone:
Ok— here’s the update.
Dinner last night in CR was like coming back to your favorite restaurant. All choices were a home run. Service perfect. Enjoyed the entertainer.
Sitting on the pool deck this afternoon in Lyeskel Sweden. Skipped tour. Relaxing. Enjoying the sea air.
No luggage for me yet.
I dont know who’s fault it is. Will ignore money issue until we get home. Happy to be here.
Sheila, did you ever get your luggage? Hope you are having a fantastic time

Good for herb. Hopefully yours will soon. Sneakers are comfortable! Ha. Enjoy your cruise!

So sorry about this Sheila! But happy you did find some things in Copenhagen. Hopefully the airline will reimburse you for those because Copenhagen is not a cheap place to shop. I love your attitude and doubt that I would stay so "zen"...though really there is nothing else to do. Stay cool and have a great cruise!
Gerry
Can just see you on your scooter. Have a wonderful cruise

The Hilton has a fantastic roof bar. Be sure to visit it.
Hi Bob, we hope that both you and Jeannie have a wonderful cruise, it sounds like your cruise is somewhat out of the ordinary. Take the time at the Hilton to recover from your flight, relax and get ready for a special cruise. We look forward to reading about your experiences. Angie -
Love trivia. Agree it is about how well you can do, not always winning. But do hope they have moved it so not in lounge with tea time.

On an interesting side note. We are on this cruise and pickup at the airport was wonderful. Upon arriving at the Fairmont we were told the room was not ready. But for an extra $100 we could have a bay view room with a king bed. We declined. But this tells you there were rooms available. We got our room at about 3 pm after waiting about four hours. But this is normal. We were early. I would have thought the Fairmont would have used the $100 extra rooms for Regent customers. But again don’t know whole situation.
On our first sea day. Weather has been beautiful. Went to compass rose tonight and had lobster. Was tough and not up to Regent’s standards. Hope it gets better.
Astoria tomorrow!
