Dislike intensely: Disability scooters. I had never seen one of these things until I came to the USA and here they are everywhere! Walking down narrow corridors and having these things barreling towards me at a rate of speed and having nowhere to go to avoid them! I have now had a fractured metatarsal in my right foot , and a laceration on my left leg that needed stitches! There should be a limit on how many there are on board, they are dangerous. Now I will sit back and wait for the inevitable onslaught of indignation.

Sorry but it is not included. I had lunch in American Diner first day on board on my March-April cruise on the Epic. Milkshake was delicious, but not free. It was not only on my bill but also as we were still in port, also taxed.

Weekly Passes are actually more expensive if you wait til on board, if the spa is not sold out you MAY be able to get day passes (very rare if you are on a "cold" cruise (Alaska , Greenland etc or on a cruise with a lot of sea days).

I did not expect to be wowed, but I was wrong. Guacamole is fabulous, and I agree on the corn, but don't miss out on the Queso Fundido and the Tacos El Pastor!!

I am seeing some comments in Cruise Critic stating that there have been letters in some of the ships' platinum and above cruiser's cabins allowing them to use their platinum dinner credits in any of the restaurants. Did you get one of these on the Getaway?

That will be fine. Be aware that if you leave the cabin, your steward will unplug everything for safety, so remember to plug everything at bedtime for a good overnight charge. Have a lovely cruise!

no, its free. you sign up for it while you are on board, it will be advertised in the daily newsletter. That dollar amount is very familiar though, it is what they are charging for the Vibe Passes.

I will be on the Getaway in August, and I live for the sea days. I sleep late, have coffee and an almond croissant delivered by room-service on my balcony, bring my crossword to the Atrium and watch some trivia. Go for a swim and have an adult refreshment while I am drying off. Join a painting class or cooking demonstration and have an afternoon snack. Play shuffleboard which can be quite competitive, then go and have a bit of a workout before having my shower and changing for dinner. Then I will go and have a cocktail while listening to some live music, have dinner, see a show and then a dance and a nightcap. Sea days are magic....
