  1. Yeah, just a couple of times when I popped my head out to see where we were 🤣
  2. The TUI flight was fine. They put a free bottle of water with each seat (in PE, at least), the movies/TV was free (in PE - don't know about Economy). Not sure about the MDR because we never used it for lunch or afternoon tea.
  3. Just as a final note on the B225 cruise, I did walk the corridors on all accommodation decks several times, up to and including 2 days before disembarkation. There were no visible signs of any big C problems, such as regular room service food trays, any red dots, any restricted areas. If there were cases on board, they were either minimal or, as I believe, were not being reported by the pax.
  4. Apologies for no updates since 31 October, but we couldn’t login despite clearing cache, cookies, etc. We’re now back home. We didn’t, after all, avoid the big C. Two of our party tested positive less than 24 hours after landing, myself included. That would imply that we caught it on the ship, in the coach to the airport, in the airport, or on the plane. My gut feeling now is that there were positive cases on board but pax were not, generally, reporting it for fear of being isolated and ruining their holiday. Thankfully, I don’t feel terribly I’ll, just a thick head cold and some weariness. The final few days of our cruise were great, but there were regular interjections of liquid sunshine. St Kitts was wonderful (surprisingly) and no sign of the building works/general rubble mentioned by MegaBear2 earlier on this page. St Lucia was good, but, in hindsight, we chose the wrong beach. St Vincent was a waste of time (just our opinion). We don’t know why P&O stop here rather than, for example, St Maarten which is much nicer. Barbados was great -nwent to Harbour Lights on Carlisle Beach, again. Had dinner in the Epicurean on our penultimate night and, unfortunately, it wasn’t very good. Big pity as we usually enjoy this restaurant. Had dinner at Sindhu on our final night and it was, thankfully, very enjoyable. Worth the wait and a nice way to finish. Flight back was delayed by 3 hours, but otherwise all good. We did, however, notice some baggage on the arrivals carousel that was supposed to have gone to Gatwick. Someone was not going to be happy. Reading some of the earlier posts on this page, whilst we didn’t witness any of the unsavoury events described, we are absolutely sure that they would have happened. I’m continuously surprised by the behaviour of some pax, from being loud, drunk, rude in the buffet, and when trying to exit the lifts, refusing to wash hands after visiting rest rooms, placing towels on loungers before disappearing for several hours, etc. (rant over). Finally, we heard about lots of “disagreements” between pax and spa personnel over various issues. No surprise because it has happened to us on a previous cruise. We will now be taking a break from P&O while we consider all of our options. Enjoy your current/next cruises wherever you might be going.
  5. It rained here this afternoon for about 10-15 minutes
  6. The JetSkis were great fun, even at $70 for 35 minutes.
  7. We spent most of the day at Valley Church Beach. The sea was beautiful and helped cool us down from the intense heat. AccuWeather said it was 31, but would feel like 35. We can confirm their accuracy 🥵🥵
  8. Arriving in Antigua in about 1 hour. Can already see the lights.
  9. We would second that, wholeheartedly
  10. Today is our final sea day before arriving in the Caribbean. There are still no obvious signs on any of the decks, nor any restricted areas that I can see.
  11. Caribbean music “party” on deck 16 this evening. Lots of pax in attendance. Last night, we watched Pulse in the Live Lounge perform “I believe in a thing called Rock”. The final 45 minutes was a tribute to Pink Floyd. Very enjoyable evening for those that like their rock music
  12. No photos of our meals this evening, because we don’t want to make anyone feel sick. Can honestly say that, while the meals were enjoyable, we all felt that our meal in the BH last week was a little better. Just our opinions.
  13. Different menu in the Beach House, apart from the Big Eats
  14. Room service trays outside Deck 14 cabin again. Horizon sanitizer attendant at one end of Horizon, but not the other
  15. When it works…….can be very frustrating
  16. Went through some cloudy weather, yesterday afternoon, with showers at approximately 2.30. Pleased to say that we have bright sunshine this morning with temperatures expected to reach 28/29.
  17. Update on the Deck 14 cabin that was tested yesterday - 2 room service trays outside the cabin last night, but no red dots. Could just be a coincidence. Will check again later today. Have noticed that less crew members in the buffet restaurant and the bars are wearing masks now. Also, the hand sanitizer attendants at the entrances to the Horizon have disappeared during the past 24 hours or so. This is just an observation
  18. Some mixed news to update you with:- On a personal note, very pleased to be able to report that we’ve managed to get a booking at Sindhu on Friday 4th, our last night. Great way to end our cruise. On a more general note, I have to report that I bumped into a guy in full hazmat gear just 15 minutes ago on deck 14. I asked what was happening and he said he had to undertake a C19 test in a cabin. On a slightly better note, he also said that he’d done “loads” of tests on this cruise and hadn’t had a single positive result so far - all were merely colds. He said he’s been on Britannia for the past 5 months and this cruise is the lowest number (of cases) he has seen. Fingers crossed
  19. Calm sea, a little more humid than yesterday, slightly overcast, but still warm. Clocks have already gone back 2 hours. Just 2 more to go - tonight and tomorrow night.
  20. Only minimal room service trays with no red dots, or any other signs
