  1. One of our group had the Fried Custard and Trifle dessert and said it was very nice
  2. No signs of anything untoward on Deck 8, or any other deck this morning (it was a long walk, but good exercise). Nor could I see any areas that were cordoned off to the pax. After almost a week at sea, I think that’s a good sign 🥳🥳
  3. I totally agree, but some pax seem to think that first-come-sunlounger-owned for the day
  4. Thankfully, the Ocean is like a mill pond
  5. Big argument on deck 17 yesterday over sun loungers. Pax leaving their towels etc and then disappearing for a couple of hours. Other pax removing the left belongings and taking over the loungers. Argument breaks out when the original occupiers return later. Announcement made over the PA system yesterday afternoon, and comment in last night’s Horizon newsletter saying that absence of more than 30 minutes means you can lose your lounger. Not much time to go and get lunch in the buffet, if that’s what you want to do
  6. We’ve noticed that, too. We accept the sanitiser every time from the crew, and we each carry our own pocket-sized dispenser. It is unbelievable how some people behave
  7. Back in Epicurean next week to try the other menu
  8. Still no signs of anything untoward on Deck 8, and no areas restricted, from what I have seen
  9. Epicurean last night. It was the final night of Menu 2 (copy of menu below). We had the Smoked Salmon (10/10), Duck Leg (9/10) and the Tomato Tastings (7.5/10) for starters. We had the Dover Sole (9/10), the Lobster (9.5/10), the Sirloin (10/10), and the Cote De Boeuf (9/10). All were presented very well, all were very good quality, cooked to perfection. Menu 1 starts from tonight for the remainder of the cruise
  10. There are 2 of these. First-come-first-served
  11. Obviously, now full of sunbathing pax
  12. The weather has improved dramatically. Lovely and sunny and hot, with calm waters. There are no lids over the cabanas - all open
  13. MegaBear2, it looks like the “cabanas” around the Serenity Pool are filled on a first-come-first-served basis
  14. It depends on which cruise you’re on. Observed LFT’s were only required for certain cruises - duration and countries visited being the main criteria
  15. Forgot to mention earlier/previously, at the Cruise Terminal we were asked to provide evidence of vaccinations and negative results for “observed LFT’s”. We were asked about travel insurance but didn’t have to show proof.
  16. All too brief, I’m afraid. Would love to have captured it
  17. Based upon our experience with Sindhu, I’d probably recommend going straight to Reception and making your restaurant bookings there. The App is not the quickest when using the ship’s wifi
  18. Ditto. Couldn’t book a speciality restaurant until we were on board. Used the App for both Beach House and Epicurean
  19. Whales and dolphins seen shortly after departing Tenerife
  20. We’re in the Epicurean tomorrow night
