  1. Just found out that Sindhu is only opening for 5 nights, and all are fully booked. Apparently, bookings were only taken at Main Reception. Now in Tenerife. Wind has died down and the weather is better.
  2. Where did you book - on the App, or face-to-face?
  3. No obvious signs of any problems on Deck 8 this morning
  4. Heading into better conditions now, hopefully
  5. This evening, we ate in the Beach House. All of our meals were excellent. We’ve booked to go again next week. Would recommend.
  6. No areas appear to be off limits at the moment. Hopefully it will stay that way
  7. There are no obvious signs on Deck 8 from midship to aft, either side of the ship. But it’s early days, so will check again soon
  8. The design flaw, in my opinion, was having the ovens and hot food this side of the buffet, and no such impediment on the other side where the fridges and cold food is served.
  9. Sindhu not open again tonight, nor listed in the Horizon newsletter. Looks like it will be closed for the duration. Also, have heard a rumour that the “isolation” cabins are on Deck 8. Will be taking a walk on that deck tomorrow, looking for discarded room service trays and any red dots
  10. One major design/operating flaw with this ship…….especially when hot food is being served
  11. Difficult to tell what they might have planned for the Serenity Pool - weather is a bit rough and nobody is using it……..see video . I’m told there are approximately 3000 pax on board, so roughly 84% full IMG_4704.MOV
  12. Thermal Suite is definitely not included within your Retreat purchase. Will be checking out the Serenity Pool area later today.
  13. For those that are interested, the Retreat now costs £245 per person for the full cruise duration. Don’t know the “day cost” yet because they weren’t selling them. The Thermal Suite in the Spa is now selling at £40 per 2 hour session, or £99 for a week, which allows a 2 hour session each of the 7 days
  14. See attached copy of Horizon newsletter. No mention of Sindhu under Speciality Restaurants. Forgot to mention a couple of surprises in our cabin - bottle of Champagne in an ice bucket, and a box of chocolates. Wasn’t expecting that. Unfortunately, we don’t drink Champagne ☹️
  15. Will find out pax numbers from Reception today. Would guess 75-80% full.
  16. Okay, update on Specialty Restaurants. All appear to be open apart from Sindhu. We ate in the Horizon this evening and the food was very good. No complaints. There might be a few staff members short in the bars because it does seem to be taking a little longer than usual to get a drink. Weather is not so good so we’re expecting tonight’s passage to be a little bumpy. More news tomorrow.
  17. On board. Efficient process, only took an hour from check in. Most pax not wearing masks, but the crew are.
  18. Not sure if it’s me, but no Cruise Cards being issued in the Terminal when you check in. Apparently, they are “outside your cabin”.
  19. We used DocHQ (I think it was). Very straightforward and quick. Negative certifications received within 5 minutes
  20. We are at the Cruise Terminal. Whilst waiting to enter, we were advised that the mask mandate for all pax had changed this morning to “optional”, both in the Terminal and on the ship. Some good news already.
