  1. I just checked our 1/8 Reflection cruise and the charge shows up. I'm disappointed because we were planning on using Room Service at least some to avoid the crowded dining rooms given the uptake in Covid cases. I do think they could have started adding it on with some notice instead of a week before (or slightly more) before sailing. We may still pay it but it is annoying.
  2. I had never even considered spending my cruise dollars on the specialty dining package in a "regular" cabin. Now, the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. All of you bring so much to the "table". Thanks for insight.
  3. I'm a Celiac and have to eat gluten free. I picked Aqua class for Blu thinking that they might be able to accommodate my dietary needs better. Is that a bad assumption? I want to have good food and something for dessert besides fresh fruit every night. Does anyone have a menu? Even better is a gluten free menu. Oops forgot to say we will be on the Reflection. Thanks so much for any help with this. Janet
  4. Me, too. I have celiac disease and not everyone recognizes it as an autoimmune disease. Thanks for the responses!!
  5. How did you get Paxlovid without being ill? I don't mean that in a smart alec way, just curious way. We have an African safari and I was wishing we could have it "just in case" since we would be away from medical care. Thanks
  6. Until I was Celiac I never realized why the separate toasters/waffle makers were so important. Just the crumbs from a wheat item can cause a reaction in some/maybe all people. I have my own toaster, etc since my husband still eats gluten based products. Janet
  7. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, we likely won't be in a suite so no Luminae. Funny you mentioned the cakes: we were on an Alaskan cruise that had the most amazing looking cakes. They were all awful (this was pre-celiac) we laughed over how a cake could be so beautiful and taste so bad. Sooooo maybe you had the same pastry chef.
  8. We have always enjoyed Celebrity Cruises food, but I have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease so my food "preferences" have necessarily changed. I can't find anything on Celebrity about how they deal with food sensitivity issues. I am hoping that people who have to eat gluten free can give me information on their attitudes. We are looking at a Princess vs a Celebrity Mediterranean cruise and although we would prefer Celebrity multiple people have indicated that Princess does a very good job of keeping you well, Thanks so much for any insights. Janet
