  1. I don't think Continental breakfast is any different for Aqua Class: I took a picture of the menu when we were on the Reflection but cut off everything on the Continental side. All eggs, pancakes, meat, Hashbrowns and smoothies are an upcharge. It is a charge only for the room, not per person.
  2. I don't think I've seen it higher. I was amazed that they are doing that. Rakatun says the cash back posts about one week after travel is complete.
  3. It was free when we were on the Reflection in early January (after the service charge was added). We were in Aqua Class but I don't think that made any difference. You could order continental breakfast for free: fruit, toast, bagel, etc. It worked out fine for us. Janet
  4. If you want them to become "second timers" I would really agree about that. Disney is very expensive compared to other cruises so you want you child/grandchild to have a good experience.
  5. I hope someone responds on this, since I am thinking about a cruise with our family of 5 and I have Celics. We would be on the Wish so I don't know if their policies are cruiseline wide or ship by ship. Thanks
  6. Pretty sure Celebrity is a "Coke" company so they have Sprite instead of 7-up. I can't drink caffeine, so I looked everywhere for something that wasn't Sprite. They have orange and root beer, no caffeine-free colas on board.
  7. I’ve said this before, but I’m currently on the Reflection and the dinner buffet seems fine to me(and I was worried). I have dietary restrictions and I have still found plenty to eat each night we have been there. I don’t remember if they specifically had a bowl of cauliflower (I think they did) but they had fresh salads, fresh fruit, pizza, pasta, a daily “theme” foods, one carving station item most nights, meats and cheeses(although less than lunch) mashed potato’s, grilled veggies, etc and multiple desserts. The chefs have been very accommodating as well. Now maybe the Edge class ships are not as good but this ship is totally fine.
  8. We are currently on the Reflection. 2 nights ago they had the grill and the pasta station open. It seemed like there were more selections on the standard buffet lines as well. As far as service, everyone has been very kind and helpful in assisting my dietary needs(gluten free) offering to prepare off menu items on both the buffet, Blu, and the Lawn Club Grill. I could not be more pleased. My husband mentioned that he felt the staff was much more polite and cheerful than our pre-pandemic sailing on Princess. So maybe perspective?
  9. My OV observations were for dinner, approximately 6:00. Very curtailed, but you definitely wouldn’t starve Janet
  10. Cheeses yes. Greek station: I don’t think so. There were several other entrees other than gluten free, rice and green curry, some type of spiced chicken, pork loin, pizza, corn soup. There was fresh fruit, baked and mashed potato’s, fingerling potato’s.
  11. I’m on Reflection right now OV cafe is open. There is a pasta station. There is a main course station with a minimum of 3 GF selections. (I did talk to the Matre d at noon which may have influenced menu choices) A greens station, bread and dessert station. It was a bit busy but not terribly. Decent food all around Janet
  12. No slippers in our room and so far only one robe. There is a bag:cloth but I don’t know if it’s mine to keep. We are sailing away as we speak. Janet
  13. We are on the Reflection and about to lose internet but I have personally talked to corporate and they are anxious to hear what we have to say about the changes. The charge is on the room service menu. I have not eaten dinner yet. Janet
  14. How do you write to her? I'm on the next sailing of the Reflection. Probably can't change my sailing but we have 2 more cruises coming up on the Apex
  15. For sure, it's South African. (also Zimbabwe) We just got back from a Safari and we had sundowners every night! Love me some Amarula!
  16. We are on the Reflection starting Sunday: all these rumors about the OV dining for dinner are making me nervous, since I'm a Celiac.(no gluten) Can you tell me if it is true that there is only pizza and hotdogs? Thanks so much! Janet
  17. Yeah, they aren't. Pretty much doesn't matter who bakes it. Has to do with the type of flour and lack of "elasticity". But when you have to eat gluten free for health issue, you do what you have to do.
  18. I was planning room service to avoid some Covid exposure, particularly in view of the alleged cutbacks at the buffet. I am Celiac, too. What makes room service a problem? Room service and MDR are in different kitchens? Even though it appears the menus are the same? Thanks for your input.
  19. I think I missed this: where do you scan your passport on the app/Thanks
  20. Does it feel crowded at 2900? Just curious how the following cruise will feel at 2600. Thanks Janet
  21. Yep, they definitely have a problem with the info they are putting out. This is on their website today. I told them that they are hurting their brand by pulling essentially a “bait and switch”. Of course the person that was in the phone “can’t do anything about that” but can only relay their decision
  22. ^^Right! If you are going to call it "everything included" don't decide to add on once you are booked and ready to cruise
  23. I think they just added it: it is showing up on the app for our sailing.
