  1. This was the fourth time we had been to Nachi and never had any issues. We love it there.

We all had the guacamole, fresh fruit, enchiladas and quesadillas. Everyone was drinking beer and then I had a few rum and diet cokes.

Dh and my neighbor had it the worst, her husband a little less and I was lucky enough to have the meds to take, so I had it the least.(Although, it still wasn’t pretty)

After over 40 cruises, we got to do a first by visiting the medical facility!

Maybe our server at Nachi or bartender had Nora virus?

  2. Wow! just read your review and guess what? We were also on this cruise and also went to Nachi.......my husband and I were both sick starting Sunday night with the violent vomiting, diarrhea and fever as well as our friends that also went to Nachi with us!!

There were two other couples in our group that didn't go to Nachi and they never got sick.

It was a tough 2 1/2 hour ride home for all four of us.

DH ended up in medical sunday night because he thought he was going to pass out. They gave him a shot for the nausea, pills for nausea and liquid meds for stomach cramps. When I got sick later in the night, I took one of the Zofran pills they had given him and I was o.k. for the ride home.

None of us really felt back to normal for a week.

  3. OK, right side facing forward is starboard. Left side facing forward is port Left & Port, same number of letters.

Anyhow, there's no change to the DL location. The game and card room are replaced by the Suite Lounge.

We were on Indy two weeks ago and the DL had been moved to the port side where the card room was located.

The old DL on the starboard side had a few tables and chairs and our seapass worked on the door.

The DL concierge told us we could go in there to watch the NFL playoff games because it had a much better and bigger t.v. than in the DL.

  4. Dh and I were on the January 18th sailing and the last night of the cruise(the 21st) we both came down with the vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps and fever. Dh went down to medical and got an anti nausea shot, anti nausea pills and liquid meds for stomach cramps.

Three other couples were sailing with us and one of the couples also got sick the same night.

The couple that got sick, Dh and I all went to Nachi Cocum in Cozumel the day before, so that might be where we picked up the sickness.

It was a miserable 2 1/2 hour drive home the next day!!

  5. I am retired and Dh is still working. Living in FL it is so easy to do a short cruise, so we take at least two cruises a year. In 2017, I took two with Dh, Oasis with my mom and Majesty with my next door neighbor. I hate to say it, but 4 was a little much even for me!😳

The most I have taken in a year is 5 and that was to get to D+ before they changed the C & A status rules to nights instead of cruises.

  6. We have been on 2SB cruises and they were fun!

The first cruise we sat out by the pool and watched it on the big screen and had pizza from the WJ.

The second time the weather was bad, so we went to the theater where they had half decorated in One team’s colors and the other half with the other team. They had a buffet at the entrance with wings, nachos, etc.

They show the European feed, so you will NOT see the American commercials. We DVR’d the game and watched the commercials when we got home.

  7. We have been on two SB cruises. The first on we sat at the pool, watched it on the big screen and got pizza from the WJ.

The second cruise it was raining, so we went to the theater where they had a buffet set up with hot dogs, nachos etc. They had half the theater decorated in one team’s colors and the other half decorated in the opposing team’s colors.

Both cruises were lots of fun!

We DVR’d the SB so when we got home, we could watch the commercials.

  8. Thank you, question, as many people claim their staterooms were too warm even set at the lowest setting, did you find at night your room to be warm?

We were on the same sailing and had an deck 8 ocean view balcony. We had it on the coldest setting all week and I brought a table fan to use at night....... it was maybe 74 degrees in the room at the coldest time and then it got warmer during the day. I always made sure our balcony door was shut and locked and sometimes I would shut our curtains just to get the room cooler during the day.

    I love a cold cabin though!❄️☃️

  9. Next cruise will be my first adventure with Norwegian.

Great ship! We are D+ on RC and figured we would try NCL since we will never get to pinnacle.

We sailed Escape Nov. 2015 and it was nice to have a totally different cruise experience. We enjoyed the food in the MDR's and the crew was outstanding and bent over backwards to make our cruise wonderful.

Loving this review and thanks for taking us all along with you!

  10.

I always bring a table top fan for cruises and hotels.

Thanks for the link to the fan above.

    I ordered one!

  11. I was having this problem last week on my IPad and asked about it here on CC. Someone suggested I click on "private" in my settings. I did this and have been able to get prices. Then when I am through, I click back out of "private." I haven't tried it in the last couple of days, but I hope this helps some of you.

Just tried this and it worked! Thanks!

  12. This has been happening to me also. I wonder if they have installed some sort of programing to cut down on us cruise obsessed folk from constantly checking on rates?

That was exactly what I was thinking, so I used Dh's iPad and got the same blank page. I have been having the blank page during mock bookings for a few weeks now.

    Very frustrating!

I called the C & A line last week and had them check a price for me and told the person I was having trouble with the website. I asked if anyone else had told her they were having problems with the website and she said no.😡

  13. I am really starting to notice more and more hand washing stations near the entrances to the eateries. This one is by the entrance to the Solarium Bistro.

Sailed NCL Escape and loved having sinks at the buffet! They are also on Getaway and Breakaway....when I sailed Escape and it was my first NCL cruise I said "RCCL should have this!" Glad to see it and I would definitely use it after using the "cootie" tongs.
