  1. Not been able to get into the 710 club at all for any of the slots. Have tried again today. Showing as all booked out for this evenings shows. I suppose we could do a walk up and check if any availability. But we are not fussed at all. The P&O my cruise app is working like a dream for us. We have had no issues with it at all in any shape or form and this is the first cruise since 2019. I have the internet package on my phone and changing to the app is easy. Only gripe I have is the cruise cards. I’m now onto the 3rd card and it’s only day 6. The ink just keeps rubbing off doing my best to pinch the sides when I need it. Just remember you need to change your last digit on the my holiday login page app for the booking reference if you get a new card as well as the last digit will change. We flew from Manchester on the 11th November with tui and had no entertainment on the outbound. Did this cause an issue for us. Absolutely No. The flight flew in. A few gripes from passengers wanted compensation, that is their prerogative. No complaint from me, couldn’t have cared less to be honest. All in all we are all having a great time. 6 of us in total. One couple on deck 5 mid ship on starboard side loves their cabin but would love to have got deck 8 the promanade deck as well as they are total people watchers lol. which we are on. We have no issue what so ever with this deck and I think it’s great as you are so near to everything as well. No issue with people walking past balcony at all. As they can’t see in unless well over 6 foot 5 inches I would say. Other couple the jury is still out for them as they are forward on port side. The ship is massive and i’m still getting lost. But always get there in the end.
  2. On Arvia just now and have the deluxe package. IMO totally worth it for us. Deluxe package you have doubles. Have to say no doubles if on the spirits. A Single will do. We are getting our moneys worth and there is absolutely no way will we hit the 15 drinks limit what so ever each day. We are not hammering through it at all. Been a mixture of cocktails, mock tails. Wines. Spirits, Coffee, Teas. Bottled water. Bottled or cans soft drinks. In glass house last night for dinner and had two lovely white wines each. Which I think were over £15 or £16 a glass and they were lovely followed by a dessert wine. All the bars have different menus and the same applies for the cocktails so what you like in one bar you may not be able to get in another bar at all. That is all the fun for us to see what is available. Only gripe I have and it is a little gripe is the cruise card the ink keeps coming off. Onto 3rd card now. And still got another 9 days left.
  3. On Arvia just now. Sea day today. Enjoying it so far had pier runner yesterday. Lucky young man got on just before 6 pm. Announcement made by captain when it’s says 5.30 pm to be back on board it means 5.30pm. No idea if happens again if others will be so lucky. First time on ship, massive on seeing it in barbados. Ship pretty much full but don’t feel it. Highlight so far was Mary Mac in limelight club was brilliant. Twist on songs so funny. Only seen one other piece of entertainment so far. The band and singer that plays in limelight after show. Singer imo was just ok. Seen better. We also have drink package and imo is totally worth it. Having an enjoyable time using it and trying out all the cocktails, wines and spirits, coffees, tea’s, mocktails. Each to their own. Works for us. Have used the keel and cow for dinner and breakfast. Very good. Beach house twice very good. The Glass house was just yum and wine excellent. Been to the Quay for breakfast along with the 6th street diner. Both very good. sit down breakfast in the zenith and meridian again excellent. Staff all work hard and any we have engaged with have been very friendly and full of smiles. internet has been excellent also have the full it package and is working a great.
  4. Flying from Manchester on the 11th November 2023 with Tui.
  5. Can anyone advise when the Cabin number is allocated in order that I can download luggage labels for Caribbean Cruise leaving on the 11th November 2023 on Arvia? This is our first cruise since 2019 and have always picked a cabin. This time we picked an early saver and will be assigned our cabin number before departure. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you BBS
  6. Absolutely no issue with them at all first time using this service to book coach for next year, waited a few minutes to get through. Service excellent from individual taking my booking and had email confirmation through as soon as call was completed.
  7. £45 PP for economy. £180 in total paid for flight to Caribbean in November 2024. Premium can’t advise.
  8. @Selbourne thank you. Booked on Iona for June 2024 looking forward to this cruise.
  9. Thanks for your posts, enjoying reading them. On Arvia in November this year for the Caribbean.
  10. Called Intercruises to make a booking for the Coach Transfer on Wednesday at lunchtime for next June. I have never used this service before and from the start of the call to ending call it took roughly 13 minutes to make our booking. That to me is not too bad for making a booking.
  11. This is us as well and we are going with another two couples on our cruise who are now holding off to see the T&C’s for the new package coming out. The drinks package price at the moment is reasonable as well looking at what we would drink on this versus PAYG it makes sense to us for the drinks package. We would be drinking Coffee/tea during the day and after dinner, soft drinks/ water during the day and even at night in between alcoholic drinks. Cocktails, glass of wine with lunch and dinner and also spirits later or even a beer all spaced out during the day/evening etc. On holiday for two weeks in the Caribbean in good company we are going to enjoy ourselves. We All work hard all year round and nice to chill out for the two weeks. P & O are giving you a choice, it’s down to the individual what works for them. Drinks package or PAYG. Each to your own. Enjoy.
  12. Last cruise was December 2019. Looking forward to two weeks of sunshine, rum and relaxation.
  13. First every cruise was 2017 on the Azura to the Caribbean. Had no clue at all what to book etc and took the advise of in-laws who have been cruising for 30 plus years just to book an inside cabin for our first cruise. Did this and was not my cup of tea at all for myself and OH. On our last day in port, I booked another room to get changed and showered in and was given a balcony cabin and when we opened the door we were met with the most beautiful light and sunshine, me and husband just looked at each other and went wow this is the something that was missing from our holiday. Have been to the Caribbean again in 2019 on Britannia and booked balcony and loved it. On Arvia for November 2023 booked an early saver fare on balcony cabin. Totally does not bother me or OH the position where we are on the ship.
