  1. @MisterOJ2what did you figure out when you were there?
  2. Nice pics! And I look forward to your final thoughts on the cruise. I will be sailing the horizon to southern caribbean in November 2024. Aruba, Cuarcao, and Amber Cove.
  3. Nice review Wildra thank you. Just booked Horizon for next March.
  4. You can be not miserable in addition to not greeting me and trying to force an interaction that isn't needed.
  5. Stereotype much? lol one person does something stupid and you seem to think everyone is like that. I wonder what it would be like having a 12 foot nose to look down at everyone else with. For the record I'm an american, have been on seven carnival cruises, and I don't smoke, vape, play boom box music, and break things. shocking I know. 🙄🙄 Anyways back to the topic at hand. Great responses here and I'm enjoying all the info.
  6. Sounds good. It's not that I'm in a mad rush. I just happen to think two hours for dinner every night is a bit much. If it happens now and then because the staff got busy and things get backed up so be it. But ninety minutes to me is plenty of time to enjoy your food and the company of those you are with.
  7. That seems to be a sticking point with some who have tried the mainstream lines and then try MSC. They don't like how different the food is. If and when I try MSC I'll just have to go in with an open mind and expect some things to be different than what I'm used to. This actually sounds AMAZING to me, despite the fact I'm an american. I find it annoying that you can't walk into a store anywhere without being greeted within the first five seconds. 😁Hi! What can I help you with today.😃 So annoying. Can't you just let me browse for a few minutes and then if I need help I'll ask you?! for goodness sake.
  8. Excellent replies so far. Thank you all. One question, how is the service in the NON-yacht club MDR. Does the meal there take two hours?
  9. I've been researching different cruise lines, and I'm honestly not sure what to make of MSC. There seems to be a decent amount of people who enjoy sailing with them, but I just can't figure out what they offer that's better or unique compared to other lines. Those who have sailed MSC, what do you enjoy the most about them?
  10. Have a great day in Grand Turk. Last week all the Karaoke was in red frog pub at 4PM. Such a weird setup. It was due to all the private events going on around the ship.
  11. Reminds me of an interaction I had with some bozo in an elevator last week on the Magic. You gotta strike when the iron is hot. Well apparently this one guy thinks the iron is hot every two seconds. Just trying way too hard to joke about everything. I was only on the elevator with him 30 seconds and could feel my brain cells committing suicide one by one.
  12. Really enjoying the review and pics so far. Bringing back good memories from last week, while also showing places we didn't visit on our sailing.
  13. I was on last week's Magic sailing. Had a good time. Hope you enjoy.
  14. Nonna's meatballs and chicken Parmesan from Cuchina Del Capitano As for included stuff: Guy's Burgers. I've never had what I would call a bad meal from the MDR. Love the ribs and mac and cheese.
  15. I also noticed these two things and had the exact same thought, wondering if there is some correlation there. I agree it would make more sense to try childfree cruising with an alt brand, than have ships within the existing brand specified for it. My hope would be that the VIFP program would crossover between the two brands.
  16. The bear my girlfriend made at BAB on Mardi Gras last october. Just to give you an idea of what can be done.
  17. Awesome review. Thank you. I was on Mardi Gras last halloween. You gave me something new to try if I ever get on her again (the Beignets). Saw Happy Cole on the Conquest back in January.
