  1. You might want to consider lunch instead so as not to miss a great YC dinner. 🙂
  2. @MonsterJoe -- Thanks so much for taking the time to post your live thread! We're on Seascape for the first time in 3 weeks (but who's counting -- right @DaKahuna?) and this was a great grounding of the who, what, where, etc. I've done 2 live threads so far and I know that they are quite a time investment and how hard it can be to remember to jot down notes for whenever you are ready to post. If your phone was not available since Thursday, I'm especially impressed with you being able to recollect so much. Thanks again and hope your travels home are uneventful!
  3. Nope, not checked in at all yet. The 14-nights are all under one reservation, so we only check in once. I guess I'll be on that tomorrow!
  4. I shall share this with him and see if he finds it feasible enough to incorporate in a future gen of cars! 🙂
  5. I'll do my best to let my natural NYer come out and not be "too nice." 😈
  6. Wonderful! Perhaps our paths will cross as that is the first week of our B2B. 😁
  7. BCD has lunch at Costco once or twice every week. He says they only have chopped onions occasionally and he's always had yellow mustard -- this is for the past ~15 years. He would LOVE deli mustard instead!
  8. Wow! You were able to get an Owner's Suite on such short notice? Excellent!
  9. Your kids must be skinny to fit in that slot! 😆
  10. We wholeheartedly agree! When we first cruised, we chose NCL because of their "anytime dining." We go on holiday to spend time together, not to eat with strangers. And we usually dine leisurely, so why be subject to others in a hurry? When I traveled for business, my best dining companion was my reading material. I had no desire to converse with others, just to recharge and get ready to face the next day.
  11. Thanks for the image of the cabin. We've been on Seaside but this will be our first sailing on Seascape. We were wondering if the YC1s had the same open shelving next to the bed. Nice to have a bit of a separator but still be able to see the moonlight on the water. 🙂
  12. Hennessy, lemon juice and Cointreau are shaken with ice and then served in a martini glass with a sugar rim (that last part is my preference). Yummy! 🙂 https://www.liquor.com/recipes/sidecar/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidecar_(cocktail)
  13. You might want to keep in mind the European way of recording dates vs. US style 🙂
  14. Usually May 1st is temperate, though you can get some colder days. My very first time flying out of Logan/Boston on May 1st had snow flurries.
  15. The best part is that you're in YC so if it's not crispy enough or not floppy enough or not 'whatever' enough, they'll make it to order for you!
  16. So excited that you're on board now -- so much so, that you'd think we were on board as well. Thanks for helping us get through the next 4 weeks until we board! 🙂
  17. You skipped the grilled tournedos in the YC restaurant? We love those on day 1 for lunch. And I love the octopus soup. (I think the hamachi and avocado carpaccio has a cult-type following on CC as well.)
  18. If they run out of Champagne, they move up the brand. It's a wonderful thing!
  19. I forgot that you were traveling with minors. Never mind... 😈
  20. Champagne, Oberon cabernet sauvignon, Hennessy, Cointreau or a "real" bourbon are the ones where we might clean them out, otherwise you're fine. 😁
