  1.    Just thought of a couple of things and thought I would throw out a couple of question. I am sailing Back2Back Seashore Yacht Club dep 6th November 2022. Since the mini bar is no longer included. but they give us a choice of a bottle of whatever, do they still give us the welcome bottle of prosecco as well, and also when I sailed on the Meraviglia they had an area in the theatre at the top right for YC guests, do they have such a thing on the Seashore? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for all the information here, I found it really useful.  I've just returned from a week in Yacht Club onboard the MSC Seashore.  I've created this video of my MSC Seashore Yacht Club Food Experience.

Hello from Canada! Funnny... I just watched your videos including this one. I am sailing Seashore YC Back 2 Back November 6th-20th. I really enjoyed your honest opinions on the food/deserts etc. I am not a huge fis or cheese fan, but I have always found more than enough good food to eat with little/no complaints from me lol. I will defiantly go to the Butchers cut for dinner at least once (eaten there on past cruises and enjoyed it) and am thinking to trying the Kaito Teppanyaki as well . Thanks again for your excellent videos!

  3. Might be of interest!!!!   Many ships when being built have a coin or coins laid in or under the keel to bless the ship and a symbol of good fortune. Most of the time you will never get to see them again. However on the Meraviglia, if you take the port side (I believe) panoramic elevator to the lowest deck it goes, look out the glass window opposite side of the door, and you will get to see the coins!

  4. Was watching the arrival of the Seashore early this AM, and now see she is at terminal C. Seem pretty far up from the usual terminals. Does anyone if any of the terminals are better than the others (not including the newer RCI & NCL)? When I sailed the Meraviglia we sailed from F which was not too bad. Can't wait for MSC to complete the new terminal at AA/AAA

  5. As a fully vaccinated resident of Canada, I can not understand why I would have to still test before getting on when we have the same covid rules, or stricter than many of the states in the US of A? I would fully understand people that are unvaccinated being tested. Same lack of thought process that many cruise line adopted that you can do your own test, unproctured and just show up with a photo of the test.

  6. I would have to say that I too would take YC interior over a non YC balcony. I have sailed two times in a YC interior and have a Back2Back on the Seashore in November 22 and have again booked a YC Interior. The views as stated from the yacht club are the best, not to mention the great other perks you get with it.

  7. I am booked on the MSC Seashore in November 2022 for a back 2 back cruise in Yacht club. Is the menu the same for both weeks? I enjoyed all my meals in YC on my other cruises, but am thinking of buying the speciality dinners package. Thanks in advance.

  8. I was very lucky that I was on one of the first cruises of the Seaview as it was delayed. With all the worker shortages, the supply chain issues etc there is a chance the Seascape could be late. The good news, Fincantieri are amazing and skilled shipbuilders and am sure they will do everything in their power to get the Seascape delivered to MSC on time and in full running order!

  9.   Hello from Canada. I was on the MSC Seaview on one of the first cruises, not by plan but because the ship was delayed during construction, cancelling a few cruises prior to mine. It was a wonderful cruise and only a few very minor "new ship" issues.

As for gratuities, I am not sure what the suggested amount per person per day is, but on both my MSC cruises it was added daily to the account. I found this was easy, and in the rare event that you do not want to pay this for whatever reasons, you can go to the customer service desk (concierge in Yacht Club) and have it removed. You can also tip more if you are so inclined. I have had interior cabins on both my cruises, and also have an interior on my upcoming back 2 back on the Seashore this November (all cruises were in Yacht Club). The cabins are excellent for 1 or 2 people, but the bathrooms are a tad small but I don't spend much time in it anyhow lol.

I know there is coffee, juices etc in the buffet at the drink stations, self serve style (right now there is an attendant dispensing it for you) but am not 100% sure if it is still accessible when it is closed and I can not say about the MDR as in Yacht club the beverages are all included.

So as places to eat, there is the MDRs (main dining rooms) that has set or flexible meal times depending on experience purchased), the buffet which is mostly open almost all the time, and as well they have the usual up charge restaurants such as Butchers cut (steak) Ocean Cay (fishy food) HOLA! Tacos & Cantina (Mexican themed) as well as Kaito Teppanyaki and Sushi Bar. You can purchase meal specials online in packages before to save a bit of money. There is also Venci chocolate factory on the ship as well.

  10. I was wondering if anyone can share information or experiences in the Wine Cellar on the MSC Seashore? It looks really nice but can not seem to find anything more about it than the MSC information. Thanks in advance!

  11. I have done two MSC cruises and going on my third this November B2B. All were/are in Yacht Club interior cabins. I had a balcony cabin on one Royal Caribbean cruise and loved it, but the price to get a YC balcony is MUCH more than the interior, and with the YC private pool deck and generous open spaces I do not really miss having the balcony. (just miss having the natural light in the am). I do not think I would ever sail on MSC in anything but YC.
