NCL just sent a major itinerary change for our fall Canada/New England cruise. They pulled both Bar Harbor and Portland and replaced them with St. John and New York City. They moved some stuff around, changed some port times....I don't know how I feel about it yet, but it was a shock to see both stops in Maine pulled. I may have to revisit whether we want to take this one.

Think I am on the same cruise.  I will look into my options as I too are not happy with the change.

You are correct.  But there is also a link for details and following that link, and the links on the page you are borught to finds no discussion of "exclusions" for the water.   So if they are going to claim this date range exclusion, it's not publicized anywhere and that simply isn't right.

I agree.  I just booked like 10 days ago.  If the promotion was over, why did it state that I would get the water?

Can I ask where/how you found those terms?

What's a bit interesting is I booked on December 16, so, I should be out of luck.  But, my reservation currently says I get the water as shown in the picture.  Even when I follow the "Click Here" link and follow to the T&Cs I don't see anything about the December 15 date.    Another funny thing is, when I try to print that page to a PDF for safe keeping, that section isn't getting printed.

My Oct'23 cruise was booked in April'22 and I just booked a May'23 cruise.  Both of my reservations/cruise have the exact same listing as highlight above.  Both are showing one 6-liter of Flow water.

Thank you, @BirdTravels. It would be SO much easier if, instead of the "Platinum dinner for 2" certificates they just granted each Platinum member a 2-meal SDP and a separate certificate for the bottle of wine.

It would also be easier if they clarified how meals were handled in places where there are more than 3 courses offered (like Cagney's or Italian) or where side dishes are an additional fee.

You are right on target!  Totally agree!

  5. I have one dinner with my May booking and two for being platinum.  I booked Teppanyaki and could not book Moderno without being charged.  Three different NCL reps told me and my travel agent that latitudes dinners had to be booked once aboard.

Where do I go to book these dinners once I am onboard?  Each restaurant or somewhere special?

HI Rose!  Yes - Choir of Man is on more than one night, and at more than one time.  On our cruise, Malevo was the first sea day, then Choir of Man the next night, and then that was repeated in reverse on the last 2 nights.

The Choir of Man and Pour Band performers were the only ones we saw out on the ship - we ran into some of the Choir coming out of Food Republic one night, and sat next to some of the Pour House players at O'Sheehan's another night.

    Thanks so much!!!

For the distilled water, go to the special needs form https://www.ncl.com/about/accessible-cruising and request it.

With regards to reservations, please keep in mind that POA has been having staffing issues and not all restaurants are open. It's possible you won't be able to make reservations until onboard.

On the special needs form, I do not see where there is a place to request the distilled water.  I see a box to check if you are bring water.

    Please help!

    Thanks!

I think I understand.  You should have received a letter for the prior protocols (Feb and Mar) cruises, but didn't.  I have the same problem.  I booked the cruises with my e-mail offers and get the booking e-mail but only my husband receives e-mails for that booking's check in and cruise planner info.  Go figure.  🤪

Everything is under my name.  I get emails from Carnival, so I am not sure why I didn't get this one🤷‍♂️.

I received a survey from NCL for their loyalty program, which I rate as very poor and not a factor in choosing to sail with them over any other cruise line. What was "interesting" is the number of questions about a "paid add on" to the loyalty program with an annual or monthly fee to increase the benefits of the program.

It's not hard to read into this program as another revenue choice for the line. With the poor performance of the Latitudes program I wonder how many cruisers would pay extra for what amounts to a real loyalty program.

I received the survey and completed it.  I am platinum status. With this survey,  I personally felt NCL was trying to improve on its not so great loyalty program.

As far the add on option....it stated it was optional!  So what harm is in that?  Take it only if it benefits you.

The survey addressed many  topics and I think it was a really good survey!  JMO

and if you take a cruise out of New Orleans....   you get taxed all the way down the Mississippi until you hit international water which can be about 3 hours.

The tax won't be that much so enjoy and don't worry !!

It takes like 8 hours to hit the Gulf of Mexico!  Not sure when they stop charging you.
