  1. The noise is from stuff down below being worked on not the Edge. I would not book this unless they reduce the fee at least half of that and IMHO $19.99 would be about right! It's not any more appealing than the claw for free really along with the zip line. I really don't see how they can justify that, but I'm sure someone with a wad and nothing else to do will pay for it. And if something did happen, it looks from this like you'd hit deck 5 anyway! What a mess. At least when we did the claw 360* we had like 15 minutes or so, but this....nahhhhhhhh!
  2. OMG they are testing without netting under them????!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Thank you both I appreciate your comments. I don't think my requests bother the crew at all...in fact I correspond with several.
  4. Sitting for a while under a heat lamp dries them out a bunch. I am also Keto but we eat the meat on lettuce with mayo/mustard. But they are usually cold and hard, hence I ask for one as I wait, I've watched them put it on the grill behind the counter. I love burgers, but they should be juicy, fatty and topped with cheese and bacon! 😋 To each their own.
  5. I was thinking of the Samba in Solarium not Sabors...my bad
  6. Is that why they're cold and hard? Doesn't matter, I'll still request a fresh one....and get it.
  7. You can walk up and request a freshly grilled puck for your burger anytime. I've done it. The only reason they are normally not tasty is that they've sat there for an hour. And tell them you want the cheese melted too. They'll grill them that way.
  8. Sabors is NOT open air, perfectly climatized.
  9. Ya mean like this one.........be sure and walk with a shuffle while there if you pick up your feet you could step on one.
  10. I remember how much I loved Blue Mountain way back in the 1970's (LoL) when I visited NYC! I had a cup at Sabor's Deli and bought some on our very first cruise in 2004. Bought some in Jamaica...Nothing like. We have an auto espresso now, and I buy only Lavazza Italian espresso now.
  11. That's funny, that was the one I had quoted...same teensy overcrowded pool deck with nothing pretty and two metal palm trees and the fake thatched hut?....and they're really shabby looking too. Nah....not enticed. But different strokes for different folks. We'll stay with RCCL product, Celebrity and RCCL for now. I even priced Silver Seas which is RCCL the cheapest I found there is $19,000 for 2.
  12. We have Asent in April 2025. We love them and if I find a deal we book them, but we are saving around $1000 lately on most RCCL cruises I price.
  13. I;ve spent the last 2 days looking at all the other lines, MSC, even Costa Diadema!. I watched that one last night on Mighty Cruise Ships. They are all so similar it's really not worth my time to try them. I am perfectly happy with RCCL and I just won't change for a couple hundred bucks. I might not do those cabanas and expensive stuff like $90 for the Crown Edge but hey, no sweat, there are plenty of other fun things to do, great food (still better than home) and beautiful new ships for us. Until they can save us an appreciable amount ugh ugh.
  14. I haven't found much comparable this morning, I've been looking for hours now. Couldn't save much and our ships are much more stylish and has features I like. Stickin.
  15. I went and watched Youtube on Breeze....nah, just can't do the pool decks, why would you continue to put in the teensy ugly pools on newer ships. No comparison with RCCL's artwork and expansive well decorated pool decks...i.e. Solarium. They just don't compare in my honest opinion. We'll stay with RCCL as long as we can afford them, maybe older smaller ships but we'll stick.
  16. Pretty much the same here. We're not getting off ICON at all next September. Check, just CoCo Cay. We're doing Hideaway day pass at $62.99. We haven't done Cozumel in a long time. been there done all that. Like our drink vouchers too.
  17. I just tried to mock book Carnival yesterday, I couldn't even navigate their booking engine, pathetic. I was interested in just such a comparison because in years past the difference in base fair was almost nil for same month, same cabin cat. etc. I kept getting the upper/lower cabin available for all of April out of Galveston! And I don't want to go to Progresso. We're booked on Voyager for the 5 day interior for $1252.52. I'd be willing to try their newer ships but how do you navigate the engine? 🤪 OK I tried again and finally got more cabins...but their price was still $1220.10 total on Breeze. I sure hope the new ships are worth that little difference and we don't get any free drinks with that either!
  18. Irrelevant. She WILL be in Miami and ready to sail by her inaugural Jan. 27th. That's what we were talking about way back in October last year.
  19. OH! I see it...hope so!! I'm a ships artwork freak. I take pics of every deck and Royal does it so well...so I couldn't wait to see it!
  20. Happy Anniversary, I've really enjoyed your vlog! Will follow your next cruise too! Bon Voyage!
  21. Remember when people said she'd never be ready in time! 🤣
  22. Hello Gorgeous! A big disappointment for me is the whale is not hung over Pearl Cafe like the original mockup showed...I loved that whale! And that they chose to do the cheap version of the Sphere for the Pearl...that had so much potential! I would've loved it to have the ability to show film of ports and ship schedules, Day of notices etc. Not complaining but they wouldve been cool. Thanks @Newcruiser
