  1. I looked at a lot of dates and I couldn't find any in 2024 that another ship was there, but maybe that site has the schedule wrong.
  2. There are no other ships with ICON when we are there September 13th so I suspect they will limit the ships when she is there.
  3. Try Shipinport.com I think thats it https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/coco-cay-port-392 Good info and photos here https://cruisedig.com/ports/coco-cay-bahamas/arrivals port schedule here
  4. Ugh. I'm on Anthem and we'll be there with Liberty. NOT looking forward to this and really wishing I hadn't booked with a non-refundable deposit. @WrittenOnYourHeart I don't see how you wouldn't enjoy yourself there, it's the berries. Smaller ships, it shouldn't be too crowded. If you don't want to spend extra, just go park at the Lagoon pool at the shallow end away from the DJ/bar and chill. Or head to South Beach and sun sand and sea, watch the critters there in the shallow salt grass, snorkel a bit and you may see baby nurse sharks and sting rays, even a pink octopus!, be sure to shuffle your feet there.
  5. Absolutely, if you walk further back on the south beach you will feel totally isolated. We've been to CoCo Cay many times, never had to pre-empt due to weather, guess we were just lucky...and saw it at its most primitive and we still love it. Don't expect it to ever be as crowded as that beach picture...yes, they are maximizing their investment and profit, but we would happy not spending any money at all there, just as fun and relaxing as it ever was if you know where to park. I can't wait till Sept. to go again. Since Celebrity is part of the RCI family they go there too, never heard of any other line though.
  6. Poo, still $62.99 pp for our ICON. But thanks, I've been keeping a daily check on both our next cruises. Picked up the $15 Chops lunch on boarding day on our Voyager. But ICON remains pretty steep.
  7. Hope we'll be able to watch her go under like we did with Oasis...Try to post a link to that please.
  8. For ICON beach club is still astronomical at $260 pp. I got our Hideaway Beach pass reduced Friday down to $63 pp. No change on anything today.
  9. I guess it depends on the needs of the cruiser. We have no need whatever for anything it offers. We don't do internet (hubs needs the down time) and we have Diamond Plus internet free anyway. We usually go to the quieter venues like Solarium Grill for lunch or Taste of Royal for so much less. We board with a backpack and a beach bag, luggage is already gone and since I'm in a wheelchair we board right away. With our D+ privileges there's just no need for paying $400 or $500 dollars. I'll save that for the next deposit. We always leave the ship ASAP for our long drive home or to avoid the rush. But more power to those who like it.
  10. I was just about to check it for ICON in Sept. Thanks for the heads up, saved another $38 including tax! I originally paid $70.99 for Hideaway Beach pass and it's now $62.99 so they had not raised it since back in July. Every penny saved is a penny earned ๐Ÿค—
  11. When I was in the hospital some years ago, they gave me a little intravenous cocktail of Dilaudid...which I was absolutely delighted with(that's how I remember what its called LOL), I could feel it go in (cold) and in less than 5 seconds, the pain was a distant memory!
  12. We've never had a really bad experience with the food. Yes, the quality has diminished a bit but just as good as my house serves at least. Pizza, I'll always order my own the day before we want it...you can't beat a custom pizza from Sorrento's for cruising. Maybe the pies sitting under the heat lamps disappoint, but I still remember my Caribbean Pizza from Odyssey. Allure in September had luscious food in the specialties, our first time with 3 night pkg. And Chops was surprisingly the best out of the 3.
  13. We loved the locals beach which is a park Lindquist or Smith Bay...not Lindberg Bay Beach but next to Sapphire Beach on the North east side of the island. Not many people so isolated but gorgeous...not much there, but they have porta potties and picknick benches...take picnic. We had a car so we could go a few blocks down the street to stores. We loved it there.
  14. But those steps seem easier to manage going up gradually than other water park slides I have transversed. I think I can do it! ๐Ÿ˜…
  15. I check other lines weekly, don't see much benefit over RCCL. not much difference in pricing either... And their ships can't compare with ours IMHO. Different strokes....
  16. I tip and tip well where it's deserved, but that is my prerogative, not theirs. We let them assess it onboard and then decide if we want to have them removed and get our envelopes. flame on
  17. It works for me quite well. I used to have this problem on planes and on ship, but I started taking LMNT 2 yrs ago and so far so good.
  18. Taking LMNT mineral supplements would help also: https://www.amazon.com/LMNT-Electrolyte-Drink-Artificial-Ingredients/dp/B09Q9WCDY7/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1MUXGAE92Z4X9&keywords=LMNT&qid=1698627757&sprefix=lmnt%2Caps%2C167&sr=8-6
  19. You have to wait to book till closer to July and you will see significant savings.
  20. Here is this week's price I just looked up:
