Agree. We like both Ventura and Britannia for different reasons. The prom deck and being able to walk along the front and back of Ventura. It's lovely sitting on there and watching the sea, as you say through the rails. Britannia has lots of nooks and crannys and the lido deck has some proper seating where it's lovely to sit when it's quiet and no one about. Quite like the "fridge" as well (sunset bar).

The cover is what I like about Ventura.

Cadiz we will probably be looking for flamenco shoes, but this time I will either write out what I want or use translator ( will check roaming charges). Last time we went neither of us spoke each others and didn't have a very good phone. Barcelona we will probably visit the food market. If I took a photo of your avatar would I spot you onboard lol. (I don't have smiley faces on here).

Mallorca is the one I couldn't find. It kept bringing up other places. Looks like it's the shuttle.

Booked to go on Britannia at the beginning of October. It was picked as it was the time we wanted. I have been trying to look at some of the ports and from what I have seen they look like the back streets of Hendon (Sunderland). I don’t know if I’m looking in the wrong places. Can anyone tell me if there is anything to see in walking distance of any of these ports? If not it will be a case of looking to book a tour. We would be no good at getting local taxis, buses or trains. Could though do the little train if there is one in any of the ports. @Jean has mentioned the hoho bus a few times, how does this actually work? Obviously I know that you hop on and off, but I’m wondering how you get back to the starting place. By that I mean do you have to go round the whole route to return or would there be buses going in the opposite direction? The one I looked at said it was a two hour round trip, but I don’t know if that even factored in hopping on or off. La Coruna Mallorca Marseilles

For those of you that have been on both ships how do you think the two promenades compare? Also can you actually get to the front of the ship on Iona like you can on Ventura?

It's not just P&O, it's happening at home as well. Prices for a basic meal have gone up by around £2 each. As I have just mentioned on another thread, a bottle of Fentiman's juice is 45p more at our local garden centre than on P&O. They have also cut back on bringing hot water out with the tea and we had to ask for butter for the toast (though that could just have been a mistake) (hopefully).

We were at a Garden Centre on Sunday and they have made some new menus, a bit like a book. I saw the Fentimans Juice on the list and said we should compare the price to P&O when we go on later in the year. On this one P&O win hands down. The Garden Centre's are £3.30 a bottle. Are the fridges in the room no longer stocked?

Could it have something to do with the way food has to be labeled now?

I have been reading on the other side that people were denied boarding on Monday 18th April due to not having the correct paperwork. Apparently some passengers had the paperwork for their two vaccines but only the card for their booster. I don't know how many were denied, but the post says "there must have been 50 people trying to download the app".
