  1. I will have to read the box to check. I knew there was something to do with surge ones but couldn't remember which way.
  2. This is the one I have bought, currently on an offer from Asda. I looked for an Anker one which was recommended before but couldn't find what I wanted at a decent price. https://groceries.asda.com/product/mobile-phone-accessories/status-3-way-cube-socket-usb-and-mains-1-4-m/1000047173030
  3. A similar question, are extension leads allowed. I have tried searching but couldn't find it.
  4. On the way to Sardinia, Aurora picked up a group of peole stranded at sea. P&O Aurora cruise ship rescues group of people stranded off Algerian coast | World News | Sky News
  5. I don't drink coffee only tea so wouldn't know.
  6. Yes you both have to buy the package. Don't forget that you can get tea/coffee and water for free, either in your cabin or in the buffet any time of day. You could even get a glass of milk if you wanted (haha), but I don't know what type of milk it is. You could also get a few glasses of juice at breakfast time in the buffet and then pour them into your own bottle and refrigerate for later.
  7. Found it. The Retreat - 14 Day Cruise Pass 0' Your sanctuary for relaxation, this outdoor refuge is nestled in an exclusive, adult-only deck area. Take in the fresh air and panoramic ocean views, refresh... FIND OUT MORE From £245 per person
  8. For our cruise on Britannia it has both names and the price is £245 each. Actually I have just looked to confirm before posting and now it's gone. Maybe it's too late to book now
  9. I can't see them crossing them off the list, as that would spoil the lists for when the ingredients return. I would say you won't find out until you try to order a drink. Did you take into account port days when using the calculator? I don't know why it would put you off cruising with P&O just over a drinks package. You can't blame P&O for your indecision. ☺ Don't forget that the price of drinks is very reasonable compared to other cruise lines. Try using the calculators, make your decision and then enjoy your holiday. At the end you can either say that was or was not worth it for you and the next time you cruise with P&O you will know whether to get one or not ☺
  10. It's been so long since we have been on a cruise and so I have forgotten. I'm trying to sort out our paperwork. Are these the documents I need to take with us, are there anymore? Insurance Validation Certificate. Medical Declarations. Do I need to print out TOB (4 pages) and policy wording (52 pages). I think I took the booklet before but they haven't sent me one. Coach Booking reference. Tickets for journey down. Tickets for return. Vaccination Proof of two vaccinations plus one booster each. P&O Booking form? Whatever information they request just before the cruise. General Passports + photocopies. EHIC's.
  11. No. Carnival is the same company but different rules as they are in the USA. Someone will correct me if I have that wrong. From my.pocruises for our October cruise. Testing requirements Changes to testing requirements: Guests on cruises after 5 September 2022 whose testing requirements differ from the below policy will be contacted directly for their upcoming holiday. Unless otherwise communicated, all guests aged five years and over must take a lateral flow/antigen test within two days prior to embarkation of the ship. This can be at any time in the two days before or on the day of embarkation. Guests will no longer need to provide a test certificate, however, they will be asked to confirm the test has been taken, with a negative result, as part of the pre-boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal/airport. Guests under five years of age are exempt from pre-travel testing.
  12. Yes as far as I know. However when I booked ours using the big TA, I was given it as a discount instead of their usual discount. It did work out better for us on an inside cabin, but might not be worth it on a higher fayre cabin.
  13. Let's hope he stays on there and doesn't move over to P&O ☺. Nothing worse than trying to have something to eat and someone coming up to your table and playing magic tricks. It's a good job they have different types of ships so we can chose which one to go on. 😊
  14. For it to happen to you once is bad enough, but twice not good. It must be so disappointing for you.
  15. Give this a try, but you will have to remember the restrictions that everyone has mentioned. https://www.cruisemummy.co.uk/cruise-drinks-package-calculator/
  16. Not bothered about magic shows. We did see an excellent young man in the theatre on Ventura. It must have been 2018. I think he was Australian, only looked about twelve years old and could give Elton John a run for his money.
  17. Nor our Britannia one on 2nd October.
  18. I know what the answer will be (money) but I'm still going to put this out there. Why do all of P&O's gift experiences contain alcohol and chocolates? I'm sure there will be plenty of people out there who don't or can't drink alcohol and eat chocolates but who may be interested in a gift experience. I wouldn't class fish as something I would like for a gift. While most people on here do drink I have seen a small amount of people who don't.
  19. Sounds good, pleased to here some good news about P&O. Enjoy the rest of your cruise.
  20. Have you checked your cruise guides in your personaliser? They give you some distances and a little map.
  21. Nor what it says on our booking, which says the same as above.
  22. All the places we visited were also included but I got a charge, though not too big. Leaving Gibraltar I was talking to daughter and we were just passing the runway. We finished the call shortly afterwards. On returning home I got a bill for £10 (my set limit), apparently I had connected to Africa.
  23. Could be all the new ships they bought.
  24. Thanks, I will check those.
