Sorry it took so long, but the Minimum is $5. The Max Odds are 3-4-5. The Max bet is $300. I'm not sure what that means but the dealer suggested that a Craps Player would know.

    Radio,

Thank you so much. Yes I understand what this means and I look forward to playing some Craps on my cruise. Hopefully lady luck will be kind to me. I did well last time I played in Vegas, but on a land based trip to Aruba I did not do so well. It is still one of my favorite games and if you get the right table the action can be a lot of fun.

I will try to post again after dinner with some answer from previous questions . . . Oh, by the way. . . The weather today was perfect. Thanks for tuning in.

I have loved reading your live blog, I cannot wait to sail on this lovely ship this November. If you have time will you please let us know the table minimum for Craps and what the max odds are?

    TIA

My hacks are all food related...

    1. At lunch, go to the burger bar and order a Turkey burger.  It takes about 15 minutes.  While that cooks, go through the buffet, get some blue cheese on a small plate.  Right as your burger is ready, give the burger bar chef the blue cheese, and ask to have it melted on your burger.  Ask for the sauteed mushrooms, too.  Best burger ever! Add the sauteed onions to take it over the top.  And then gloat at dinner to your tablemates about the "custom burger bar" that only those in the know get to go to...

    2. When they have the softer cookies at the ice cream bar, ask for two on a plate, then ask for a scoop of ice cream, and make your own ice cream sandwich.  Take back to the pool chair you've been hogging all day, and make everyone jealous!

    3. Go to the salad bar, get some spinach, the good marinated olives and some artichoke hearts on a plate.  Find the charcuterie board, and grab some cured meats.  Then go to the pizza maker, and ask him to make you an amazing "Antipasto Pizza."   (Might be worthwhile to have a five-spot with you the first time).  Share a photo at the Martini Bar, and ask your fellow cocktailians if they've discovered the gourmet pizza specialty restaurant.  Note: don't try this on ships with Lawn Club Grille- it'll confuse the cruise newbies, making them spend unneeded hours standing up on the lawn at lunch, waiting for a pizza chef to come by, with nothing but some Antipasti to keep them from going hungry.

number 1 & 3 are perfect. I never through of modifying with using stuff from the buffett

The water was emptied into the overflow drain.  I seem to recall the staff doing it.  Also the overflow drain on the balcony was used.

Mafig, that is exactly what I was thinking. The proper term is a scupper

    What size are you envisioning?

I believe these are tiny....more like the size of a child's inner tube that's filled with a small amount of water.

I was thinking one like this would be ideal.

But in all actuality and joking aside it would be more like this.

Or this so we could use it in the shower for baths too.

    Radio,

Would it be possible for you to provide a picture with the pullman bunk open so I can see what it looks like?

    TIA

And you really get off on this? Well, I guess whatever floats your boat.

Nothing wrong with a sense of humor as long as it does not cause harm to others. As for floating boats... better a sense of humor than an iceberg.... just look at what happened to the Titanic.

How do you know that they weren’t really passengers on the Equinox?

To give people a thrill like you many times we will pretend to run after a ship that is leaving.   Stand there and then walk over to our ships and talk to an employee deliberately pointing toward the ship that left and just talking about nothing and then get on board.   A few times passengers in front and behind us in line boarding ask us about missing the ship and we tell them that X is allowing us to sail with them.

Don’t always believe want you see.

    Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You sound like me, I bet we could be great friends although I am sure X would never let us cruise together. Think of all the chaos we could cause!!

He loved the splash zone/pop-up fountains and played in that.

What ship was this on? We will be sailing on the Summit and I am not aware of a splash zone. If there is one that would be great.

  9. I am sorry if this has been asked before, I used the search feature but could not find an exact answer.

I will be sailing with my 8 month old son in November, this will be a family trip for my In-Laws 50th wedding anniversary. What I would like to know is would I be allowed to bring an inflatable pool for my son to use on the pool deck? I know he will not be allowed in the ship's pool as he will not be potty trained by the time of our sailing. Any advice would help, especially from those individuals who have sailed with small children.

Please no negative comments, we booked this sailing almost 2 years in advance and before we knew we were expecting. All the family will be going so leaving him with another family member is not an option.

    TIA

WOW, we are no longer able to "pay the difference".  I wonder when this changed???  I wonder if the rep knows what they are talking about?

I do not think the rep knew what they were talking about. Plenty of individuals on here have reporting being able to sign for the difference plus 18% . Looking at the Classic menu I think the $11 dollar limit only applies to glasses of wine. Everything on the Celebrity website still says drinks are a $9 limit.

For those who are in like latter half of 30's, 6 figure income, with infants/toddlers who like to travel.  Cruise seems like one of the easiest options. Don't have to lug infant stuff across multiple cities and hotels.  Can go back to your room whenever you want. Nap-time and meal times are easy to accommodate.

Ding, Ding, Ding Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner. You hit the nail on the head with this comment. It also describes my wife and I, along with most of our friends to a T. We are in our 40s', both of us are professionals who make good money and waited until later in life to have children. Cruising is a great way to enjoy a vacation and to visit multiple places without having to pack, travel, and switch hotels with each new destination. My daughter at 3 1/2 years of age already has more stamps in her passport than most adults I know (land trips, not cruises). She is also aware of her surrounding and knows exactly what is going on and how to behave. She absolutely loves fancy dinners (she calls them princess dinners). I would like to think that this is because of the experiences we have provided her.

How on earth did they get the gravy through security???

If a liquid is in a solid state (frozen) you can bring it through security, But they most likely just put it in several 3oz bottles in a 1qt ziplock bag.

If only there were a guarantee that having got the one, you would not get the other as well.  There’s no saying you couldn’t have nearby tables with loud drunks and screaming babies!  Or screaming drunks and loud babies, for that matter.  I’d prefer to dine without either.

And that is why the ships offer room service

I ordered the infant once. Tasted like chicken,

That's why I love children... Fried or boiled! Don't forget the Fava Beans and Chianti.

(A Sixth this part is not directed at you)

In all seriousness though I will be cruising in November with the WHOLE family, there will be 10 of us for a 50th wedding anniversary. Of those 10 there will be 4 children a 15, 6, 4, and 8mo. As a previous poster has said, we take our children to many different places and they are extremely well behaved. A child learns how to behave by having experiences, it is up to the parent to provide those experiences and to teach their children how to behave. I can tell you I have seen my 3yo daughter behave better than most adults when dining in a fancy restaurant. I will also tell you that if my child is not behaving properly either myself or my wife will take them out of the restaurant until they are able to calm down and behave like a well mannered individual.

You should not blame the child as they are just a reflection of their upbringing. Instead blame the parents and the parents parents for not teaching them better, this is the reason the millennials feel so entitled and act the way they do. I would rather eat in a restaurant full of well behaved and even partially behaved children than some of the crotchety individuals I have seen on these forums.
