Not all beer is vegan, some beers use a clarifying agent called isinglass which is made from fish bladders. Now I am going to boycott Celebrity for cruelty to animals because they serve beer. Yeast have rights too!

I personally think Olives are horrible and I am offended that Celebrity would even allow someone to consume Olives in the same bar as us non Olive consuming passengers. I demand that as a paying customer Celebrity fix this issue by banning all Olives immediately. If they do not take action on this I will cancel my next cruise and I will tell all my fellow passengers on CC that I have done so. I will not however contact Celebrity customer service to let them know how this horrible experience has cost them a customer.

You are trying to compare apples to oranges. Oceania is considered to be a luxury cruise line where Celebrity is a on the higher end of the main stream cruise lines. Not the same category of cruising  therefor I would not expect the same category of food.

I hope they get the WIFI issue resolved before my cruise in November. I have also experienced this in hotels and find it very annoying

That is a cool feature do you know if I need to have NFP turned on for it to work? Since I do not use mobile wallets I keep NFP turned off.

Our city, Sunnyvale, CA,  passed an ordinance that smoking is prohibited in your own home if it is attached to another structure -   Townhouses, Apartments, Condo's, Duplex's etc.   Not only can you not smoke in your home but unless the property specifically allocates a place 50 feet from a structure you can't smoke on the property either. 

 

 

I dont smoke any more and have been using e-cigarettes for the last 2 years, but if someone tells me that I cannot smoke in my own home that I own and is not a lease or rental I can promise you I would start smoking again.

Just curious, what is the fine for someone who breaks this ordinance?

All joking aside I do agree that pollution of our planet is a serious issue and we all have to start somewhere. I admire you for doing your part to help. Most of my replies on here are really just to play devil's advocate. I do not think banning straws will make a difference at all. Until we can produce biodegradable alternatives that are cost effective or convince everyone to switch to reusable alternatives this issue will continue to exist. We as humans are the only species on this planet that take what God gave us and purposefully destroy our only home.

Yes, there is a designated are on the port side by the buffett. This is on the same deck as the pool.

I hope it gets rolled out on the Summit soon too as I sail on it in November. This will be a great feature for our group to stay in touch with. Please keep us updated on your experience with the messaging. 

I was reading on the X website that the mobile app supports live chat between passengers on the ship. Has anyone used this feature yet, more specifically used it on the Millie? I am asking to see if this is a feature that is being rolled out to the whole fleet as they complete their "Edgeafacation". We have a cruise coming up in November on the Summit which is still in drydock and will be a group of 10 people. If this works (unlike the X website) I feel this will be a great way to keep in touch with the members of our group. 

B, as a former smoker who now uses an electronic (cannot stand the smell of smoke anymore) I can tell you that it is an addiction. Some individuals cannot go 5,7,14 days without a fix much less even an hour, while some can quit cold turkey without any issues. I personally need my nicotine. I would much rather have a place outside that interferes with as few people as possible than deal with all the grumpy individuals that cannot get their fix.  

And yes, even though I cannot stand the smell of smoke I will be out in the designated area with the smokers because that is the rule for electronics. I personally think it is the rule breakers who give all of us a bad image.

I was watching the Science channel last night as I do before bed on most nights and found a show that was of particular interest. They have a series called Mega Machines and this particular episode had to do with Cruise Ships (RCI Harmony of the Seas) and what a turnaround day looks like. This show took an indepth look into the inner workings that most guests do get to see, and I found it very interesting. I highly recommend watching it. Below is a link for it.

As Gerelmx has stated Qsine will be replaced by Le Petit Chef after the scheduled dry docking in early February.  so to answer your question yes if you are sailing before.... no if you are sailing after. 

All of it but especially the Seafood. I live just outside Dallas and when you can find good seafood out here it is really expensive. We just got back from a week in Maui and I at Seafood twice a day, everyday of the vacation. Escargot is one of my favorites too, we have one restaurant by us that serves it but my wife will not eat it so I very rarely order it.   

He got the certified copy a couple weeks before he applied for his passport so it’s fairly new. With your son did you just have to send in the birth certificate after the error was made?

Also I should mention that he doesn’t have his original birth certificate and got a certified copy and when he submitted everything to the post office they gave him back the birth certificate. Is it worth resubmitting with all the other documents?

I had the same issue 4 years ago when applying for mine. I have them copies of medical records, bank statements, auto loan records, my highscool transcripts. I'm all I sent them about 40 additional documents. Send them anything you can think of that may have his name, dob, and signature on it. Also pay for the expedited processing.
