If you were Elite+ on your last cruise you would have received an invitation to afternoon tea, a nice event that was offered once per cruise.
I do not believe this has been offered since the re-start.
I cruised with a non-Elite friend a couple of times pre-pandemic and spoke to the CC representative on board who confirmed that she was welcome to come to the breakfast and the Elite+ HH events as we were sharing a room. Has this changed since the restart?
This is off topic but I rarely see anyone mention the Meridian. We took our first cruise, ever, on her to Bermuda in 1996. I still remember what a beautiful ship she was and that the whole experience was magical. Thanks for reminding me!
Very smart of you. Years ago I got an upgrade because of a price change and forgot that I had submitted a bid for move-up for that cruise...which I won, for a less desirable cabin for a fee! Move up agent was very kind but they are not able to do much for you in this situation.
Just checked pricing on a med cruise next year and found that price had gone down...saved over $400. Not a whole lot but it will almost cover the gratuities! 🙂 Unfortunately our SA cruise remains exactly the same price.
I just called to upgrade a room and the agent told me I would have to pay $200 change fee...did you have to pay a change fee with your upgrade? Thanks!
My platinum (Delta) card did not have it but my old Blue card did! It came up in the second group of 100 that loaded. Odd that the search function does not bring it up.
Thank you for making us aware of this offer- I never would have seen it on my own.
I am also the in house "travel agent" and find this frequently...there is a Dominican Republic resort that we visit who always send emails to ME for for Mr John!
