Hi Jim. Lucky you, The worst part of the whole TUI cruise experience is actually getting to the embarkation port. First of all you have whatever the uk airport decides to throw at you, we have travelled from Birmingham airport twice this year and the last time I was wondering if it was worth all of the hassle. The TUI flights are always pretty much guaranteed to be delayed for some reason, And once on the aircraft it’s pot luck regarding comfortable seats.old aircraft are the worst and the uk fleet seems to have the pick of them. The only light at the end of the tunnel is the cruise that you are heading towards. Rant over😤😤😂 Keep well.

I know that all of the forms and testing requirements can be stressful but think of the end result. How good is it that you will be with your grandkids, best of times guaranteed. We have a land based holiday in Rhodes later in the year with our two little ones and I am looking forward to it so much.

Hi PC. Hoping you and mrs PC are both keeping well.🤞🏻 From what we gathered last October the only way that pax who tested positive were leaving the ship was by ambulance to go to a quarantine hotel. I would imagine that if you were allowed to leave the ship then it is because you have tested negative.🤷‍♂️ Stay safe.😉

Hi Nancy.My above post was my observations during our latest trip. As I said everyone was dressed as per TUI guidelines and getting along with each other as it should be. No swim shorts or costumes in the MDR and even if there were surely it’s for Marella staff to enforce and not the diners You have quoted “As for the dress to impress night Marella say " It's the chance to get suited and booted but if you don’t want to take part there is always the buffet And then pasted what Marella really have put into their speil and that doesn’t mention the buffet? What was very obvious on this cruise was the absence of the tut tutters I assumed that this was because everyone seemed determined to have a good time especially after the dreadful past two years. As I mentioned in my earlier post, Cruising is changing so it’s a case of take it or leave it.🤷🏻‍♂️ Fortunately for me I can and will accept the way it’s going so that I can enjoy my holidays. We must never forget that choice is one of our greatest freedoms. Keep well.😉
