  1. I have been moved up from an infinite veranda to an Aqua Class sky suite. When I originally booked the cruise my fare included gratuities. I know in suites the gratuities are higher, do my gratuities paid earlier apply toward my suite gratuities?
  2. Don’t worry about something You no have no first hand knowledge about enjoy the anticipation which is half the fun of the cruise.
  3. We just got moved up to an aqua Class sky suite 10100. I know it’s all the way forward, wondering how bad the obstruction would be and if theirs noise issues in the cabin. Any feedback would be appreciated.

  7. Just got upgraded to Aquaclass sky suite. I already paid for a premium beverage package and upgraded Wi-Fi. Can I get my money back since they are included with the Suite? Also are you entitled to free specialty restaurant dining? Cabin number is 10100 any info and experiences would be helpful.
  8. If by chance you are moved up from a verandah to a suite can you cancel the previous purchases that you now get as a suite perk?
  9. Celebrity has cancelled five months of European cruises with no compensation. If you rebook you have to take the prevailing rate not the rate you originally booked your cruise at. I’m cruising Celebrity for the first time and thought they were a class cruise line unfortunately that is no longer the case.
  10. I have visited Perfect day many times and enjoyed it very much. The food options are far superior than any other private island and the pool is incredible along with its acres of beaches. I have no doubt you’ll enjoy.
  11. Not sure about Syd Normans but they escort you to the main theater.
  12. Embarkation for Haven guests is quick until you hit the pavement, at that point we sat for over an hour to get out of the port then even more traffic after we exited.
  13. We interacted with the concierge almost on a daily basis. They escort you on and off the ship, make reservations for you, and take you to an empty theater before a show starts for your choice of any seat in the house. Their job is to make the cruise as stress free as possible.
  14. Was on the Haven on the Escape one night, O’Sheehans had Chicken Parm as a special. Asked if we could get it in the Haven, no problem. The moral ask the worst they can say is no and that isn’t in their vocabulary in the Haven.
  15. I enjoyed the French Dip on the Escape but found it odd that the Roast Beef was cold.
  16. It took an hour and a half to get out of the port this morning it was a hot mess. I mention it only to help answer the never ending question can we book a flight before noon. The answer no!!!
  17. Yes it was an excellent show lots of fun. We saw it on the last night of the cruise figured let’s go out with a bang. It plays at least one other night not sure of the day, two shows a night.
  18. I just debarked from the Escapes Haven. It was a 9 out of ten a couple of things I would improve upon. The Menu in the Haven never changes and gets repetitive after a few days especially if you have a less than stellar Pallet. It’s my belief that a couple of Chefs specials in addition to the regular menu would improve the experience. One other issue with the dining room was the length of the dining experience, your looking at two hours for dinner and a bit less for breakfast and lunch. I do appreciate a leisurely dinner on occasion but when your on a busy cruise ships with shows, nightclubs and other entertainment options their are times when you want a expedited dinner. I did mention we had a show to attend at a certain time it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. Having said that the food was excellent the best I have tasted on any cruise ship and we cruised pretty much all of the mass market lines. The Bar service is exceptional by the beginning of your second day they know your name and personal likes. The bartenders and support staff makes you feel right at home and like my wife said they make you feel like your at a bar named Cheers. It was nice not waiting for a drink longer than two minutes a home run for sure. The concierges are very good with expediting getting on and off the ship getting you in the shows early and arranging those hard to get reservations. Our favorite spot in the Haven is the Sundeck. No fighting for chairs, and It was terrific not having to fight the crowds. Marco Pole as we called him and others always made sure you had beverages and whatever you needed. The best part you didn’t wait forever for your drinks and always delivered with a smile. The Butler always made sure you had snacks in your room and delivered room service. A couple of times we used room service for breakfast when we had a early port and she was always on time and delivered white glove service. Our Room steward kept the room immaculate and worked around our schedule perfectly. The Haven lived up to its name, it certainly was a Haven from the chaotic pace of the cruise ship and worth every penny. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
  19. Just got of the Escape and they were in the process of changing over from Pepsi to Coke products.
  20. Before I purchase the unlimited Wi-Fi package on the escape I was curious on the quality of the Wi-Fi. When streaming is it like watching paint dry? We’re staying in the Haven is Wi-Fi connectivity better in the haven than other areas of the ship? Thank you for any helpful info provided.
  21. I hate to bring this up because the mere mention of dress code gets everybody’s dander in a tizzy. I’m new to the haven and was curious what the accepted dress code is for the Haven restaurant?
  22. A couple of questions from a Haven rookie. 1. Were traveling with another couple, how easy is it to make dining reservations using our concierge onboard? 2. Do they have reserved seating for Haven guests at the show venues? we’ll be on the Escape 12/3 sailing.
