this December may be our first time, it would be vision of the seas. Does RCCL have more than one drink package(alcohol)? If so, which do you get? Are there any drink package discounts now?

 

Anything I must do/eat on vision of the seas?

Only one package for alcoholic beverages. A couple of others without. Alcohol package is about $50 pp/day +18% gratuity. Ours was recently discounted to $42 pp/day + grat.. If one adult in the room buys it, both must. The RCCI website explains the different drink packages. There are also threads here on CC debating whether they are worth purchasing.

We were on a cruise recently where we had a large group of quilters. It was crazy! Drunken elderly women partying to the wee hours of the morning keeping the rest of the cruisers awake. It must have been string break! Odd, but I heard they brought their brothers with them but I never saw them. The music was loud too as it was said they brought singers with them. They were so funny that they kept me in stitches. :'):'):')

On the cruise planner page, scroll down to the bottom and click on Royal Gifts. You'll find canned soda and bottled water available in the "packages" category.

You could book the Harmony President's cruise in 3 months and ask Mr Bayley in person these questions as he will be on the ship.. He was very approachable and open to conversation on the last President's Caribbean cruise. :) :cool:

I wasn't able to complete my online check-in without uploading a pic. This was a few hours ago. Did I miss a way to 'opt out' of uploading a pic? I was able to move on from the page where the pic can be uploaded (step 1) and complete everything else but that section was marked as 'Incomplete' until I uploaded a pic.

Where are you sailing from? I have heard that some ports such as Bayonne have a new system to streamline the check-in process.
