  1. No clue about the name. I just approached the hostess in one of the MDRs and asked about the WMD. Specifically asked about the price! She double checked with 2 other staff members standing right there and they all agreed that the price had not changed...but nobody volunteered anything in regards to the "name". I had never heard it referred to as anything other than the "Wine Makers Dinner" until all of this talk about a drastic increase in price here on CC.
  2. Show times for this evening were 8:00 & 10:15
  3. I *believe* I heard that this was the last cruise for Paul. I do not know if that meant for just the Sky or "he's done" or something else. I will try for a pic tomorrow (sea day).
  4. Currently on the Sky...I will try to remember to ask tomorrow.
  5. Various people have posted that the price of the WMD had gone way up...over $100 worth. Well, we're on the Sky right now and we are on the wait list for the dinner to "make" (minimum number needed) and they say it is still the $40 that it has been for some time.
  6. Currently on the Sky (mini-suite). Here is what is available:
  7. Did you scroll all the way down? It's always below everything else.
  8. Blue painters tape to cover the motion sensing lights. Just wrap about 18 inches around a popsicle stick and toss that into your toiletry bag or a catch-all bag if you use one.
  9. Just "walking up" with no reservations *might* be an issue...but I tend to agree with @cjpj ...it sounds good in theory that they would accomodate you...but I'd also say that the timing would play a big part in success or lack of.
  10. As far as outlets...see this previous thread...lots of Info to be gleaned. Not the same ship but pretty sure same outlets & adapters needed. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2924998-power-sockets-on-enchanted/
  11. I agree with @PacnGoNow...don't use duct tape! I take blue painters tape and it works great...easy to remove without any residue. I just wind about 20 inches or so onto a popsicle stick and toss that I to my "emergency tool kit".
  12. A poster currently on the Sky shared pics of Starlink antennas... She is just out of a dry dock. We will be boarding her on Saturday.
  13. Clarification: You don't actually do anything to "load" a cruise into the app. If you are logging in properly to your account (I use the same login credentials as on the website) all your cruise should show up. (OK...if you have more than 5 or 6 cruises booked I have heard there is a max number that show. Sadly, I don't have that "problem"!) To switch between each cruise you tap on your profile picture and then select the appropriate cruise. If by chance you *still* cannot see all of your cruises you need to call or email the Medallion Support people who will sort it out for you. (You might log into the website and confirm you can see your cruises there. If you can't see them there you will never see them on the app.)
  14. If you don't plan on "doing the whole Vegas" thing and do rent a car, Mt. Charleston is a very nice drive up into the nearby mountains which is a nice break from "Crazy Vegas" (although *everybody* needs to experience "Crazy Vegas" at some point in their life!) There is a point on the drive up the mountain where you can look off the right down into the valley and see one of the areas used as an atomic bomb testing site. There is a small plaque on the side of the road...that's the only way I know about it. If you're not paying attention you will blink and miss it. There's a very nice little restaurant up there and the temps are very often 20 degrees below what you have in Vegas itself. It makes for a very nice day trip.
  15. Will be cruising soon with a granddaughter who has a service dog. (I'm not going to get into the reason...let's just accept that for now, please.) Supposedly she has contacted Carnival as well as the airline in question and everything is arranged. I'm just curious as to whether anybody has ever been on a cruise with a service animal and were there any issues?
  16. Glad you got everything resolved. Jumping through these hoops is not much fun!
  17. While DW *does* have her separate Princess account, I manage both via my login since I am the one doing the booking. You indicate who your second passenger is during booking so they have all the info they need. We have never needed to log in on her app unless it was just "troubleshooting" to see if her app was doing the same crazy stuff as mine!
  18. And there's no gold with this one...unless you add a gold chain...
  19. There's no "white" with this...but maybe a white shirt underneath?
  20. Pacific Princess, hands down! Alas, we only got to sail on her one time just before the pandemic which was her world cruise. (We were on the very first leg of that cruise, a Panama Canal full transit. I know we can sail her again on Azamara...but that takes a bit more coin!
