  1. Don't take my word as gospel as far as there being a US style outlet behind the bed on Discovery. I cannot say with absolute certainty that it was the Discovery that had the US outlet. (It *may* have been an NCL ship.) But what I *can* say for sure that if you go prepared with an adapter such as what I am using and there is a European type outlet behind the bed you will be able to plug in the adapter and then plug in whatever *was* plugged into the wall into the adapter AS WELL AS now having a US style outlet (in the adapter) to plug in a CPAP. I do this all the time. NOTE: If by some chance there actually is a US style outlet behind the bed...obviously you can plug your CPAP directly into that outlet...but you will "lose" whatever was plugged into the wall originally unless you use something like: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XXPKL8C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  2. The retired IT part of me has trouble understanding how the Cruise Tool can give different responses if people are plugging in the same cruise info...
  3. Plus the fact that none of the circumstances were even known by the Casino Dept. when the offer was made. I'm not saying that they don't care...just that they did not contribute in any way to the offer being made.
  4. You seem to be totally dismissing the possibility that the perfumes or colognes could be "returns"! 😄
  5. I know there is a sticky thread at the top of the forum that refers to "Anything Covid Related" or similar...but that thread has been there for over a year and the environment has changed drastically for *most* of us wanting to cruise. However...some of us are still needing to test for certain cruises (the so-called "enhanced" sailings) and could probably benefit from "fresh" info regarding online "proctored" Covid tests. @Host CJSKIDS...Please do not merge this with the sticky thread...at least for awhile. I think we can all benefit from first-hand reports of what services have worked well in this regard. Have you recently (within the past year *MAX*) used a good proctoring service that you can recommend? Please post a link to that service's webpage.
  6. One thing to keep in mind as far as the "culture" here on CruiseCritic is that there are SO MANY of us bored out of our minds just waiting for our next cruise! (Maybe I'm just speaking for myself...IDK.) That being said...there are a LOT of us who log into CC everyday just looking for some kind of entertainment/distraction while we are waiting...something that at least involves the topic of cruising. Your post/question was answered in post #2...or at least a pointer to where you could get your answer. I apologize if you have been offended by the types of responses you got...but if you've been such a longtime member you should be well aware of how things go here. Anyway...I hope you got what you needed. Have a great day...
  7. We were just on the Discovery this past August. It was either a European style or a standard US style behind the bed. I've not had to use an extension cord for over 4 years now since I started carrying my adapter.
  8. Yes...as both @Thrak and @PacnGoNow say...make sure you can log in to the online website and make sure that you can see your booking there before you start trying to mess with the app. If it doesn't show up online then there are bigger issues.
  9. Given what you've just shared...you might want to look at this: https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Travel-Power-Adapter-International/dp/B07DQTL87X/ref=sr_1_4?gclid=Cj0KCQiAw8OeBhCeARIsAGxWtUwwZ5SWy8vZsYw5sjRxaTJ_VxzDPWacs5f5Wv17CjtNDrhUYs0DdP0aAvxxEALw_wcB&hvadid=177625249348&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9013277&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=4877709662565605328&hvtargid=kwd-80498904260&hydadcr=25311_9899918&keywords=travel%2Bpower%2Bconverter%2Band%2Badapter&qid=1674701293&sr=8-4&th=1
  10. Either of those should work fine for use at the desk. If you plan on using one behind the bed then if you use either of those plugs you "forfeit" being able to plug in whatever *was* plugged into the wall there (most likely one of the bedside lamps). Post #4 shows the style that I use behind the bed and still be able to use the lamp(s).
  11. In reality...neither of you *have* to have the App...but it *somewhat* streamlines things. There are many posters here on CC that have said they just showed up with their documentation and had no issues. While both myself and DW have the App installed, my phone is the main one. You can see all info for both on the one App install.
  12. Not to disparage any of our CC members here...but I would not depend on a definitive answer here! Go by whet the Princess website/heath tool SAYS. Print it out and take it with you.
  13. And the hold music is Sam & Dave, "Hold On, I'm Coming"... 😄
  14. They *should* set the original medallion to open the new room. You can even ask that the medallion open *both* rooms if everyone involved agrees...have done this many times when grandkids cruising with us.
  15. I just paid off an entire cruise using GCs (with the exception of the deposit).
  16. Every time I walk past the casino it just automatically sucks up whatever OBC I have...
  17. I have seen various posts where it was claimed that you had to ask for a Patter. We have done 5 cruises now post-restart and we have never had to ask; they just appear on our bed after dinner as they always have.
  18. C'mon guys...let's give the OP a break here. We don't know what their issue is; it might be something really serious.
  19. I have seen others post that it uses non-refundable first...but hopefully others will step up with first-hand knowledge.
  20. I don't know what age group you are in but you'll do much better than what any credit card does by purchasing AARP gift cards. 10% off right up front!
  21. You might check a Roll Call for a similar cruise...assuming that it has the same sail time.
  22. Well...I think there's only one logical "next step" in this conversation... What about the dress code for Room Service in your cabin? 😄
