    I also wonder how many of the complaints of bland / tasteless food may be due to Covid and people don’t realize they are or have been infected previously.

    Speaking for us, not caused by covid. Off the ship, food was just fine. Plenty of flavor at guys as well, especially the fries.

    • All of the food was super bland. No flavor, no salt. Upon reflection, my wife and decided that dinner at a local cafeteria would have been a better option than the food offered at the dining room and Lido on every night.

    The staff was wonderful. It seemed like everyone was very appreciative to be back at work. The food quality was just very subpar, and very disappointing;

    Agree 100%. The food on Pride back at the beginning of the month was awful in our opinion and I said just that on my post cruise survey.

    I was told (RUMOR) that CPAP are checked for oxygen tanks. Evidently oxygen tanks, not supplied by the Carnival vendor, are a No NO.

    Not many, if any, CPAP machines use oxygen, just plain, breathable air.

    Until it isn't.  I used to work at Port Canaveral (checking in passengers going on RCCL ships) and you would not believe the amount of stuff left behind by passengers.  In the hussle and bussle at a cruise terminal people tend to forget things.  So, we would just collect it all, store it away and have it available when the ship came back.

    OK, let's say It should be with you. If it's not that's on you.

  5. If it's in your carry-on, then it is with you. Not sure how a carry-on would get lost since it is in your possession. Check bags have been lost (and even a few dropped into the water) and also they don't exactly receive gentle handling, so there's the chance your machine could be damaged. I carry mine with me.

  6. It's a shame this happened to you but if another passenger grabbed your bag by mistake (or otherwise), there is only so much Carnival can do. They have no way to know who that person might be or where they were going once they left the port. Unfortunately, there are those people that would keep the bag even when they realize it is not theirs.

  7. Just an FYI, I wasn't saying anyone should or should not reduce grats, just that I don't think you can reduce them by individual. Even if you pay by cash there are going to be those behind the scenes that don't receive anything as you never encounter them in person. But yes, grats are a personal choice and not anyone else's business.

    Thank you for your input, unfortunately that did nothing to answer my question. Also I did NOT adjust ALL tips, just steward tips on that particular cruise. Thank you.

    I may be mistaken but if you reduce the grats it affects everyone that is part of the tip pool. I don't think you can specify which crew member gets reduced. The guest service might tell you that's who it affects just to keep you happy.

  9. As much as we want to cruise, we're with you (op). Our Dr said there are a fair amount of false positives happening and I'm not going to book now and then stress over that possibility. We too will wait until this testing requirement is gone, if it ever is. We have one cruise that we booked a long time ago but it's not until 12/22. If they are still testing, then that one will be cancelled. In the meantime we are enjoying land vacations in the US.
