Checked bags there and had a marvelous lunch the first week of February so would say Barrachina's still open and checking luggage. Keep in mind that shops, etc don't open until late morning or early afternoon on Sundays.

Just returned from our first cruise since 2017 and realize that all things change. Cannot say that any one of the 6 of us reasonably smart phone and app- proficient adults were able to make use of easily, promptly or consistently the RCI app. Huge delays/lags in messages and responses and lock outs provided a less than stellar experience with that. The house phones and messaging was employed. Was never able to add one party to our group. Oh, well, still had a good time and the dining room menus are still posted outside the doors:)

Just returned from Voyager week: formal night was far less black tie and cocktail/ball gowns than in the past, dress your best night was a discretionary multiple choice issue and white night was not. Changes from the past.... at least most people on this cruise chose to stay out of the dining room in shorts and swim suits...

We like the Isle Verde area. Double Tree, Embassy Suites are nice. Verdanza in pre-2017 was a fine place to stay, but haven't seen too many positive reviews for recent times:(. The Convention Center area may be less. Remember resort fees are an additional cost in PR.

We have been looking at bag check alternatives in SanJuan specifically the IslaVerde area for our February disembarkation and have been limited. The Bounce,Bag Away types have no convenient cost effective sites. Disembarking early on a Sunday leaves many restaurants and stores especially closed (at least in the past when in Old SanJuan) .Am looking at hotels, any new insite appreciated.
