I can't help with the flip flops. For our last two cruises we used the state run testing center in Inver Grove Heights. Easy to make an appointment online and quick turnaround for results.

I'm in Coon Rapids, Inver Grove definitely doesn't sound like a trek I want to make. Especially after all the snow you guys got yesterday (we got just under 3").

  2. If you do skip parts, make sure you at least get your check in time. And if you end up with a later time because nothing earlier was available, check back daily. The cruise I was supposed to go on last month our original check in time was 3. Eventually more times opened up and we were able to do an earlier time.

Am I alone in this?  We have a cruise in Feb, and I’m so worried I’ll forget something!

DH and I pre-covid tried to cruise once a year.  I am the planner, and felt I had a good rhythm/system for planning and packing.  Now, since it’s been a while, I’m out of practice!  This weekend, I think I’m going to put together a list of all the things we need to do and pack…. I’m paranoid I’ll forget something important, like final payment, getting my prescription nausea ear patches, packing our KN95s, and scheduling covid tests.

So overwhelming, but so excited to get back onboard!

I'm in MN too and cruising next month.  Where are you getting the covid test at? And any suggestions where to get some flip flops?  We have guest kitties and between them and my cat, I suddenly need to replace them.

Did you book through a travel agent?  Travel Agents get the itinerary change email, not the passengers.  Plus it takes RC forever to update their website sometimes.  So if you did book through a TA, they more than likely haven't forwarded it to you yet.  If not, then Ocean Boy is right, there is no rhyme or reason for how or why RC does some of the things they do.

I did.  My TA is actually my parents 😀.

Well the summer is over, kids are back in school, college started in Florida and it is hurricane season, which everyone is afraid of.  There is always a percentage drop of occupancy now anyway so this should be no different.  However, it will be a little weird on 8/28 when I get on, but I'm still getting away, it is multiple beach days, the booze will flow, and the entertainment will happen.

That's my plan for my November trip. Beach and pool time.

Check in for November 12 cruise just opened up this morning I completed our check in process at 1030 am and only boarding time is 300 to 330 any chance earlier times will open check out time at our hotel is noon.  We have always checked in earlier in the past

I asked the same thing earlier this week. I'm on oasis 11/3 and currently only 3-330 shows.  I think it's possible that the slots haven't actually opened yet. So I'm checking daily for a better time.

My November Indy cruise has ONLY 3-3:30 as a check in time.  If they don't open up other times it's going to be a cluster ---- at 3pm😇

Oh, so maybe they'll open up other times as we get closer. I guess I'll definitely be checking daily.  This is only a 4 night cruise, and our first time on an Oasis class ship. I want as much ship time as possible.

  8. Hello.  Yesterday did all of our pre-boarding stuff for Oasis in November.  We were automatically assigned a check in time of 3pm. Does anyone know if earlier slots ever become available? Wondering if I should start checking for earlier times daily or if the time we have is it and shouldn't bother.  Thank you.

We were walk-ins. But there are two lines.

Are you allowed to serve yourself at the buffet or is the staff putting the food on your plate?  Also, assuming reservations will still be needed in November, do you have to have the internet package to access the cruise planner?

  10. Hello.  My partner and I are doing a short cruise out of Miami in November, leaving on a Wednesday. We are planning on flying down either Sunday or Monday and are trying to decide where to stay. I'm not looking for exact hotels, just areas to help me narrow things down. The magic Google says if we stay in FLL it would be about $25 to get to Miami. We can fly into either airport, and I think we want to stay very close to the/ a beach.

So with that in mind, what would you recommend for areas? TIA

This is why they should be baiting the 2021 bookings. They can hold on to the money longer. Offering it to bookings that will likely be canceled is only digging a deeper hole for refunds that already aren't happening. The 2021 bookings will jump on the low price because they don't know how long the pricing will last. As it gets closer to the sail date and when they are sure the sailings are a go they can raise the prices.

Agreed.  I'm currently booked for April 2021 and if the price were right, I'd totally jump on this.

    The Uk is not included.

I started to hear this about 8 months ago and recently saw a site that says it starts in July now of 2021. Just use words USA 2021 travel to Europe.

I'm planning a trip to Northern Ireland next year, which is the UK. However I may be flying into Dublin, which is not the UK. So I'll definitely have to look into this further.  Thank you.

Next yr USA has to so this for Europe starting July.

I found 4 different sites all saying different things like Eta is good for 2 yrs vs 1 year.

Is this specific to cruises or all Europe travel?  This is the first I'm seeing regarding this, if you have a handy website can you provide it? If it's not handy, no worries. I can search.  Thanks.
