Fabulous tour of NY Greg. I grew up there and I haven't been to most of the places you went to. I did climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty when I was a 7 year old Girl Scout. I remember it well and would never do that again. Your photos are exceptional and make the City look beautiful. My memories are a bit different such as riding the subway every day for years in the rain, sleet, snow, etc. NY is a beautiful tourist city. To live there, IMO, not so much. Glad you had a good time.

I loved your review. I have been to Greece and it was so fun to see those beautiful places again in your eyes. Glad you're home safely.

Fabulous pictures of Statue of Liberty and NYC skyline. I grew up in NY and it always looks better from the sea or the air rather than in those mean streets.

I studied that picture with Pres Bush. The only skin showing on you is a bit of your neck. It doesn't look wrinkled but ol George has been dead awhile and I'm not sure when that was taken. Megan - enjoy that beautiful blue water. We did a pirate ship when we were there also but I can't remember which one. But I do remember that for the first time ever I swam off a boat into the sea. My husband was numb with shock because that's not my thing. But that water is irresistible!

Megan - I don't know if you have heard of DK Oyster in Platys Gialos on Mykonos. According to a few articles I have read online they are a famous tourist rip off place. People have been charged $800 for dinner there. Just a heads up.

Also, Azamara pastries and sweets are delicious.

Megan - your pictures are gorgeous. When I was there vendors were selling painted canvases. I bought some and got them framed when I got home. I have them all hanging in my large Texas size bathroom and they are such a nice reminder of a beautiful place.

You could have told them to put Greg Incognito on the sign!
