  1. Thank you That is what I wanted to know. We will change our flight to the 3:30 flight. Do not want to take the chance
  2. First time Princess Cruiser. Would like to know what time the first shuttle is available to the airport. I know that disembarkation starts at 8:00 am. We have a flight at 10:25 AM . If we disembark with our luggage will we arrive at the airport with time to spare. Thank you in advance
  3. Are the passenger charges and cruise details for one person? That is what it looks like based on taxes and service charges.
  4. Barcelo Raval in la Rambla district. Close to anything you want to do. Cathedrals, restaurants, bars , open markets and great tapas. 2kl from the cruise port. NCL air used Delta from Ca to Europe and I think it was Iberia airlines to Barcelona.
  5. You probably had a scotch in your right hand and a beer in your left hand while DW was completing the survey for you. Thank her for me!
  6. Shhh. Not too loud. Someone will disagree with you.
  7. I agree. Dined with officers at the Marine Corps ball in 1967. The girlfriend who is now DW wanted to go. Do you really think I want to dine with officers on a cruise ship while I lose time at the bar?
  8. Mine says military. Our next cruise was booked through CAS because we had a free cruise certificate.
  9. As of right now you are out of luck. The same if you play slots on a cruise ship.
  10. We were on the Bliss the first part of December. I drink Wild Turkey. The list shows Wild Turkey. It was no where to be found. One bartender said they have not had it for months.
  11. Yes they do. One month ago my wife put a down payment on a couple of their machines.
  12. Upgrade bid on the Bliss in November and the daily gratuity for the Haven stayed at $16 per day.
  13. We were on the Bliss a few weeks ago. We spent more time at the Local bar then we did at the Haven. I asked one of the regular bartenders why some bartenders would pocket our tips and the other bartenders put the tips aside. He stated that a bartender who only works the Local when they need an extra bartender keeps the tips which he receives. The permanent bartenders at the Local pool their tips and share them equally at the end of the day. We noticed that every once in a while there was a bartender that we did not recognize and they pocketed the tips.
  14. Prior to cruising on NCL the only cruise line we sailed with was Carnival. With Carnival we were gold VIP and received many extras from the casino. Depending on the cruise we would get free rooms which would be anywhere from inside cabin to balcony with upgrades available for a price. These offers also included free drinks while playing in the casino. Cheers for both of us and OBC from $50 up to $500. All of these offers were different depending on the cruise which was booked. We decided approximately five years ago to try NCL because we were either getting too old for the style of cruising which was on Carnival or the other cruisers were getting too young. Most likely we were getting too old for the party style cruising. As of today we still get offers in the mail and emails with the same offers. Prior to our last cruise on the Bliss which was two weeks ago I was reading a post about CAS where CC members stated that they get 10 to 20% off, comped rooms or upgrades from CAC. We just figured that CAS sends out info just like Carnival does. Not too smart on our part. I asked my wife to call CAS after we return from our cruise to see if we were eligible for some sort of discount on our next cruise. We really enjoyed the Bliss so I did a mock booking, an actual booking and my wife called CAS for a Club Balcony Suite with large balcony on deck eight for a five day cruise out of San Pedro. She was told that we had a cruise certificate that had expired but we had another one which was issued in November. The gentleman stated that we should have received e-mails notifying us of this. Guess what? We never received any e-mails. Needless to say we booked the cruise. Here are the three price break downs which includes gratuities, insurance and all free at sea extras. No other charges. Mock booking. $2710.34—-$889 per person Actual booking with military discount —$2532.54—-$800 per person CAS booking—-$1717.44—$336.55 per person plus $90 per person for admin fees. It does pay to read these boards. Thank you again.
  15. My wife pulled $200 from a slot machine on the Bliss two weeks ago and they charged our credit card $3. Maybe we were lucky.
  16. You can charge it to your room and you are charged $3 by NCL.
  17. Bailey’s included in premium plus. In the duty free shop on the Bliss last week it was $26 for a liter. Amazing.
