  1. We have not yet sailed on either of these two ships but we also never pick a cruise by ship or price. Rather, we always select the ship by itinerary (where we want to go is important) and date. I also always look to see if it is possible to do a B2B on that ship. In January we are doing B2B, 10-day cruises on the Enchanted (Caribbean) and in June we are doing B2B 14-day cruises on the Sky (Norway/Iceland). As long as we have to travel to a cruise port, we might as well take advantage of being there and do that second cruise.
  2. American Airlines has changed my flights twice now, the latest being this week. EZAir has promptly rebooked everything for me. This last time American eliminated one of my outbound flights to Long Beach so I decided to change to Delta. There was an upcharge of $113pp. I hope it was worth it. We leave in November.
  3. Update: I called Princess this morning as soon as they opened up. To make a long story short, our original flights were restored, including those of our solo traveling friend, we received email confirmations of the restored flights, all within one hour. Princess and EZAir surprised me. I am grateful for their assistance.
  4. We are booked on a cruise out of LA in November and planned on flying from Michigan to Long Beach then staying at the Crowne Plaza. Well, our flights to Long Beach have been changed - and not by us. Apparently American Airlines changed them to unacceptable flights to/from LAX. I thought that this might have been done due to all the troubles airlines have been having lately and that perhaps the original flight no longer existed. I checked our Princess EZAir reservation and it still shows the original flight but does say that our reservation has been changed and we will be notified. I went to the American Airlines website to see if our original flights no longer existed. What I found was that the flight still existed and could be booked. There appears to be no logical reason for changing our reservation from the original flight. I even went through a mock booking to insure that such a booking could be done and it could. I went back to the EZAir and went through their option to change flights. I was able to (mock) rebook the original flight (if I wanted) but only if I paid an additional $128 to do so. So, for $128 more I can get my original flights back that should not have been changed in the first place. I'll probably try to contact Princess but their customer service has been so bad lately that it probably won't do any good. I'm pi$$ed.
  5. As for us, we will be staying with Princess unless Princess changes our minds. We have not cruised since COVID but have had cruises cancelled, so at least we are trying. We are fans of either longish cruises or B2B. Our November cruise is 28 days, our January cruises are 10-day each, B2B, and our June 2023 cruises are 14-day each, B2B. Each time before booking these cruises, I tried every major cruise line in an attempt to somewhat mimic the itineraries but had no luck. Princess simply has the best itineraries. I'm not a big fan of what's happening to Princess under John Padgett, so if we don't like what we get in November, we can always cancel the other cruises and see what's available.
  6. We just booked 2-14day B2B. Total deposit was $4.
  7. Mine shows up immediately upon booking.
  8. I have three cruises booked with the previously named "Premiere Drink Package" using Princess Plus booking. All of these cruises now show that I have the "Plus Drink Package" rather than the Premiere Drink Package.
