  1. With the numerous dining options available on Mardi Gras I'd expect Celebration to be much better than non-Excel class offerings.
  2. Scan the QR code in your cabin, shown above in post 5, for VIFP perks and how to redeem them.
  3. Valid point. We were on Vista 3/26. Seems they have suspended Tea Time and reduced the hours of the 24 hour Pizza. I know everyone keeps saying staffing issues. I wonder if it's a combination of number of contracts completed since restart and more likely, maybe the younger generation not feeling the value of the endless hours
  4. Site says make final payment but, when you click on to proceed you have the option to make partial payment.
  5. I take medication 4 times a day and carry a tiny pill box daily. Never been an issue in my life as they do not pat down/search guests. Seems Security would be more interested in those that are off their meds.
  6. No upgraded level of Cheers. SauvBlanc is OysterBay/New Zealand. May have been better off bringing 2 bottles of wine and buying more thru Cruise The Vineyards. Also, 50% off bottle of wine first night Steakhouse. Enjoy Cheers with free specialty coffee and other included drinks.
  7. You'd think it would carry over but, they treat it as a cancellation and the rebooking is under the new, current terms. Another thing that happened with others is they had $600 OBC, rebooked a shorter cruise and were again cancelled by Carnival. They only got $300 OBC even though they rebooked another long cruise.
  8. Seems you may have lost the $600 OBC when you cancelled the March cruise?
  9. Carnival site FAQ on B2B cruises requests guests call 1-800-764-7419 to get cruises listed as B2B. This can also be confirmed once onboard but it does need to be brought to their attention that you are B2B. Any token gifts can and do vary by ship as it is up to the Hotel Director.
  10. I'd order it for the entertainment/wow factor, even if they don't allow the kids to order other dessert. They could have some dessert from the buffet after 555. Cherry On Top on some ships have ice cream/sundaes until 11:30. Also, some of the coffee venues have sweets and milkshakes at Shake Spot.
  11. You spent 15 minutes completing all the info. All you needed to do was choose your arrival time first and go back to complete the other info later at your convenience. Platinum, Diamond, and Suites get a 2 day head start. Your cabin will probably be ready when you board and embarkation lunch is still being served, you'll be fine.
  12. I was on Sunshine 12/26 and Vista 3/26, both ships opened a late night section of the buffet every night. Grilled ham/cheese, small meatball sub, caprese sandwich, penne pasta w/marinara, chicken noodle soup, and cookies. This was offered every night around 11:30-1:00 or 1:30.
  13. @Markmom18 Your boy's doing great; shoutouts here and from OP.
  14. Marky Mark's mom posts here on CC. I thought he was working Panorama? Agree, the crew on Carnival ships are great!
  15. @Badfinger No rules that I'm aware of; however, offers are better the more time/money spent in casino. Cancelling the booking shouldn't effect future offers, you're not onboard to play rather than spending less.
  16. We were cancelled off Horizon 12/26 and moved to Sunshine, due to emergency repairs. Given OBC ($450 for our 2 cabins) and FCC (25% of base fare). Bottom of our letter had a link to click on when ready to use the FCC. I almost forgot about the FCC until a post here triggered my memory and I submitted to apply on our 3/26 Vista cruise already booked. FCC was approved and applied within a week.
  17. You can pick your assigned time first and go back and fill in the rest of it at your convenience.
  18. I had a recent offer for an "Island Hopper" cruise, free cabin for 23 nights when they move Spirit back to Australia. Seattle/Hawaii/Fiji/Sydney. They were even kicking in a little OBC. Alas, I had to pass, although I was tempted to turn in my retirement papers and go solo.
  19. Post your itinerary and someone here can tell you which ports are tender ports, such as Belize.
  20. I'd definitely do it just for the fact it sounds like something fun to do together. Take the opportunities when they come along, kids grow up so fast.
  21. The Havana Bar has Cuban coffee (3-4 selections), Italian espresso, lattes, cappuccino, and mochaccino.
  22. No, room number is not listed on your S&S card for security reasons. Contains name, muster station, and MDR table number for assigned dining. It's on you to remember your cabin number. add: Sorry for being redundant, didn't see the responses on the next page.
  23. They may as well call it Seaday Breakfast now. I would have shaved the time off the front end; 9:30-1:00 is closer to traditional Brunch hours.
  24. This came up in another thread last year. Someone that lived by the port posted they were building a convention center near Port Everglades and a new cruise terminal. Do you know if they built a new terminal? I'm not sure but, I thought it was a new terminal for Carnival? I know the convention center is not cruise related; however, it could impact hotels at times.
  25. Seaday Brunch was 8:15-1:00 on Vista 3/26. Surprised they would cut it to noon.
