    Hi:

We are on the May 18 sailing of the Celebrity Beyond out of Fort Lauderdale for the ABC cruise. We’ve purchased three specialty dining meals but when going to reserve them on the App (and website) every single specialty restaurant on that sailing shows no availability. We’ve been checking this for several days.

Our assumption is, they must hold back some of the reservations to be handled on board. Does anyone know if this is true?

Additionally, if that is true, when and where when boarding do you go immediately to secure the reservations that you want for places like Rooftop and Eden?

You will have to do this on board. Unlike a single dining purchase multi night dining packages can't be reserved ahead of time.

I hope not.  We have a 10:30 boarding time, ...

What you have is a 10:30 check-in time, not boarding. You will check in and then go to the assigned waiting area to wait. Boarding may not even start before 11:00. It's all dependant on clearing the ship from the previous cruise. Once boarding has begun the process is a little quicker.

    Hello all,

We have anytime dining but have a question, if we dine at a particular restaurant around 7:45pm and we find we love the waiter if we ask to have the same waiter each evening at the same time do they accommodate?

Usually, but you may have a short wait or get a different table in their section.

They probably think, "Good you are here get on so we won't have to worry later about you."

Shoreside won't worry about you. If you are not there by all aboard time they will close the check-in and go home.

    Hi All

I'm new to Celebrity, my neighbors are looking to do a group March 3 2025.  I know that is the beginning of
College Spring break and we don't want to be on a party boat with a bunch of drunk young people.

We are looking at Celebrity Silhouette to the Bahamas next year. Should we just go in February>

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Linda

How long is the cruise you are contemplating? That will have an impact on the crowd. If it is one of the 3 or 4 day cruises you are more likely to get a younger demographic.

I noticed today on the website for two cruise I was checking there is no flights being offered? which is strange... I have one cruise in September with Refundable flights already book so I check daily to see if prices have gone down... also one booked for March and Can not even  have options to check for flights... anyone else having this problem?

You are too far out for a March flight. Usually 300 to 330 days out the flights become available. Flights up to February are available now

Yes in most cases. The opening is around two feet wide and allows passage between the balconies. Opening the divider does not provide a single large balcony. The Grand is a older ship. Over time the aluminum balcony hinges and latching structure ages making some balcony connecting doors difficult to operate and latch.

Thanks. I am aware that the opening will not be the full depth of the balcony, but it will allow a bit easier conversation between the two.

The dividers can be opened unless at one of the fire walls. You can see on some of the deck plans

I believe there is a fire wall on one side, but not between our cabins, so access between the two will be nice.

  9. I will be going on  my first Princess cruise aboard the Grand. I have tried the search function to no avail so....

Can the balcony dividers be opened between cabins on his ship? Travelling with family and would like connected balconies if it is possible.

If you also have an account at Royal Caribbean with the same user name, they share the same authentication data.  If you change the password for either, that same password must also be used for both as well.

If you "reset" making your your new password the same as the old it isn't an issue. The system allows for the re-use of an existing or previous password.

Is anyone having problems with signing into their Celebrity account tonight?

There are at least three other threads in the last two days about this problem. It is happening to many. Just hit the forgot password link and reset your password and all will be well.

Just got an offer to bid on a PH and Iconic for our upcoming sailing.  Ship is sold out and final payments are in. Seems like a waste of energy and getting hopes up for something that simply can’t happen… we are in an EV so I am already thrilled, but curious about the rationale here.

Back-up plan for them to keep the expensive inventory filled if there is a cancellation between now and sailing date.

We’re new to Celebrity, always cruised Royal.
We have cruises booked on 3 different ships, Apex, Silhouette and Ascent.

I see they have more than one complimentary restaurant included. How does that work if you have early dining on the reservation?

I’m totally confused, because Royal only had 1 Main Dining Room and with early seating I never had to make any reservation.

Do we need to book regular dining meals in each venue for each day or just decide to move around at our choice each day and show up at our 6pm time?

Apex and Ascent have 4 dining rooms that are anytime dining, no fixed seatings. go to whichever one you want at the time you want. On the Silhouette there is only one dining room and it has a section for anytime and a section for fixed seating

Celebrity has always charged 200% for a solo traveler in a double occupancy room.  So if you're only getting charged 150%, that's a win for a solo.  But your numbers don't make sense. Celebrity's leadership has always treated solos like trash, and it's worse than ever now.  Notice where they put the solo cabins....on deck 6 overlooking the lifeboats.  I'm taking my cruise dollars elsewhere.

Your interpretation of supplement is flawed. That has always been one of my pet peeves when people discuss this. OP specifically stated 150% supplement. That intimates a fare plus an additional  150%.   A supplement is an amount in addition to the originally set price, so his assessment of a 150% supplement is correct. The charge is 250% of the original fare. If  the charges were 200% of the fare it would be a 100% supplement.
