  1. Wow. Okay. Once again, thanks for your opinion. Where's the magic button?? L.
  2. He was on the 10 day. This current cruise Gerry is on is an 11 day. I am on the 11 day as well. L.
  3. @ger_77 I have a favour to ask. Are you able to email me (or even post) the Daily Program from your cruise? Email is Firstnamelastname (Leanne Rathje) at gmail dot com? DH really wants to know what to expect on our Feb 4 cruise. Leanne
  4. Gotta say, not the ship for me. Too big, too......much, I guess. L.
  5. Just had a look at the weather...apparently there was a frost warning. Wondering how many iguanas were falling from the trees this morning? 😁
  6. There’s two BHB’s in port again. The ms Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 19 from 3:45 am to 11:30 pm. (what a late sailaway!!) and she is leaving on a 7 day Southern Caribbean. 8. I might suggest you re-frame the wording of your question. Personally, I am pleased with the entertainment choices on board, I love the Music Walk, and have no desire to see an Elton John impersonator on the World Stage. But that's just my opinion, which is different than yours. It doesn't mean that your opinion is superior to mine, which is how your questions are often worded. I think that's also why @PACD_JGasked you why you are cruising on the Zaandam, as often your comments often intimate that HAL's entertainment isn't "good enough". Why not cruise on a ship with entertainment more suited to your tastes? L.
  9. Sorry, I think they are called The Daily Program now. And yes, they are delivered in printed form to your room every evening for the next day's itinerary. I borrowed this from @Crew News, as he was recently on a 7 day Western Caribbean on the Rotterdam. RTDM-2023-Day-03-Sea-Day (1).pdf
  10. Newsletter? Do you mean the printed When and Wheres? L.
  11. If anyone ever wonders where I get these arrival and departure times, they all come from the Port Everglades ship schedule page. https://pevvesseltraffic.broward.org/webx/ And yes, PE changes the times often! If you look at the PE page tomorrow afternoon at around noon, the departure times will be different then as well. Between other ships departing and arriving, cruise ship behemoths that take FOREVER to leave, bridge openings and closings....well, it must be like juggling 15 balls at the same time for the harbour authority! It's not a job that I would want. L.
  12. There’s two BHB’s in port on Saturday to watch! The ms Nieuw Statendam will be at pier 26 from 5:30 am to 5:00 pm, and she is leaving on a 7 day Tropical Caribbean. The ms Rotterdam will be at pier 19 from 5:45 am to 5:00 pm as well, and she is leaving on an 11 day Southern Caribbean Wayfarer Also in port is Sky Princess at pier 2 (4:45 am – 5:00 pm) Odyssey of the Seas at pier 18 (5:15 am to 5:00 pm), and Celebrity Apex at pier 25 (6:00 am-3:30 pm). That’s 4 ships all leaving at 5 on the 14th! The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.portevergladeswebcam.com/. Next up: Nieuw Amsterdam and Eurodam on Sunday, January 15.
  13. We love ordering coffee from room service, and then sitting on our verandah as we come into port early in the morning. L.
  14. I waited on hold for 5 hours after my Christmas Eve flight to Mexico was cancelled. I was on hold with Red Tag, the on line agent for Air Miles. Brutal. L.
