It will be the same for ALL travel though. And the price of crude doesn't juse affect Carnival....it's all cruise lines. Driving by car is astronomical, and flying is very expensive as well. What can you do that doesn't involve petroleum, except do a stay-cation? L.

Yes, I do recognize that they aren't on 24/7. Personally, I love nothing better than having breakfast on my verandah while the ship comes into port. We order coffee and breakfast to our room every port day. L.

Wow, if I had a Neptune, I would ONLY order through the concierge! But that's just me, as I've never been in a Neptune, either! lol... L.

lol....We started cruising quite late! First cruise, January 2019, 9 day Caribbean aboard the Koningsdam, 52 years old 2nd cruise, March 2020 7 day Mexican Riviera aboard the Oosterdam, 53 years old (right before COVID) 3rd cruise, March 2022, 7 day Mexican Riviera aboard the Koningsdam, 55 years old On our most recent cruise, we received our 2 star pins halfway through the cruise, and my husband proudly wore his to dinner every night after they were received! L.

Curious....is this photo of the old Rotterdam? The TV is in an odd place, and the wall behind the bed is not usually a mirror like that....The sofa looks odd, as does the desk.... L.

Does anyone know about the Explorer Sale? I found a promoted ad (on another site) posted by a cruise agent. Has anyone heard what it will be? Apparently it starts on September 30..... Here's a clip of the ad, with the agent name deleted. L.
