A good place to start is the HAL website. Even if you're not interested in ship excursions, it will give you an idea of what might be of interest to you in each port.
Thanks for the information! One of nice things about not having tried it before is that we won't miss what's been taken off on the new menu. From what I'm seeing we will like either menu, so we'll see what we get in May.
Depending on when you go you, you will go through the fjords in daylight. When we're there in late May the sun won't set until 23:00 and rises at 04:00. June will have even longer daylight hours.
The tourist areas are fine especially during the day. We use to drive all over Mexico, I would not do that anymore. We don't travel to Mexico much these days but only because we've spent so much time there in the past. I'd rather explore new places now.
Thanks for the review. I'm looking forward to our upcoming cruise on NS. It will be our first on a Pinnacle class ship so I enjoy reading about others' experiences.
So now the food isn't just bad, it's evil!😁
I know my husband is looking forward this steak on our upcoming cruise. Thanks for tips on how to order it.
It is sad to see. I get that most lines are having to deal with these types of issues but it's hard to watch something change from what you've enjoyed in the past.
Cutbacks continue on other lines also.

Our favorite type of cabin! Our grandson joined us a few years back on a cruise and this cabin worked well for us. here's a photo of the bed made up for the evening. There was still plenty of room to walk past it in the night.
People saying that midnight is late enough for them is not the same as people wanting the ship to be a monastery.
I think that judgement goes both ways perhaps?
