  1. Thanks, they're probably refunding based on cruise dates - we weren't expecting a refund that quickly anyway. Enjoy the new plan! We're still working on ours.
  2. Nothing there at the end of June, some canopies over holes in the deck, not usable space.
  3. Quickly finished with both refunds after she came back - apparently there were several memos that she had to read through.
  4. Apparently they didn't pass the memo to customer service reps, I've been on hold for 15 minutes waiting for Jean to return so she could "look into" the redeployment for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Ah, we received the email, slightly different language: While we’re confident you’ll have an amazing time onboard Enchantment and enjoy many of the same features as Brilliance offers, the stateroom you’ll be re-booked in will be the best available stateroom but may be different than the original stateroom you reserved because Enchantment has less staterooms in that category.
  6. That will be interesting for us, too, the cabin class we were booked in on Brilliance doesn't even exist on Enchantment.
  7. Probably too long for this thread, suffice to say that we didn't particularly enjoy our time and won't return even though Enchantment's home port is (was?) only an hour away. We booked our B2B on Brilliance before going on Enchantment - to be honest we probably wouldn't have booked another Royal cruise at all, so this is a nice out for us.
  8. We'll be taking the refund. Just got off Enchantment and will not be going on that ship again.
  9. We have a B2B booked end of next June, the nice thing about the itineraries is that they are not loops, our B2B begins in Greece and ends in Spain. Explorer is similar, but we booked Brilliance specifically for those itineraries and wouldn't be interested in anything still available (let alone the lack of cabin availability).
  10. Yikes, we're booked on B2B end of June into July on Brilliance (starting in Greece ending in Spain).
  11. You do not need to submit the test results to Bermuda - Royal will check for your provisional authorization and your test results at check in (and your vaccine card and ID).
  12. Island Bar also wasn't open for our cruise end of June. Spotlight Lounge Bar was also never open, though it doesn't matter much as you have to walk through Schooner to get to it. They used the space itself for quite a few activities (not enough, really), but the bar was never open.
  13. Suites get free pressing for the first formal night.
  14. Not after your bid is accepted, but you may be able to move cabins within the same category if any are available. You can decline to bid altogether.
  15. Plus no waiting for the shuttle to fill up.
  16. Taxi? ~$40, not unreasonable depending on # of party members. I do like the idea of someone swimming around the island to get to the beach, though. 😄
  17. She'd only be able to check in to one room, so if you checked her in to the Star suite, the other room would be lost (no place to sleep) - if you checked her into the sleeping room, she'd not have Star class benefits. The only way I could think is to have a pawn - a sixth person (that will not get Star class benefits). Sister checks into Star suite, gets a second key for the pawn's room and sleeps there. Convoluted, but the only way I see it working.
  18. It really doesn't matter, they're going to look at the physical card when you board.
  19. It seems they updated something - the error message is delivered much faster. An hour ago you had to wait 15-20 seconds, now the error comes right away!
  20. It's not really 48 hours - when did you test? If it was yesterday, you're fine. If it was Tuesday, yep, too early.
  21. It should qualify for a three month extension from the printed date, so they would expire Nov 7th 2022. No idea if the proctoring services will take that into consideration, though.
  22. You can take a home test before the proctored test. If that's positive, get your letter then.
  23. Recent (May 19th) Enchantment compass lists Solarium pool as being open until 10 PM on most days other than embarkation (9 PM that day) and a random port day (7 PM).
