  1. Thank you everyone. My current booking is not apart of a Group Booking and the TA OBC is not applied to my account until the day of embarkation. I believe this is done because the OBC is coming directly from the TA. I guess the question now is... I see on the post above that they do flag Non-Refundable QBC on the Folio Statement. Has anyone ever seen it either say Refundable or not flagged at all and was that handled differently? The reason I'm asking these questions is I'll be getting a considerable amount of OBC from my TA, but not until we board. If it's refundable, I may book several Port Excursions in advance. If it's not refundable, then I could wait until boarding to book them using the TA OBC.
  2. Thanks, I checked with her prior to our previous Celebrity Cruises and she didn't know. So I'm thinking it might be up to the Cruise Line.
  3. We've sailed mostly on Celebrity Cruises in the last 10 years. With Celebrity, any OBC provided by our Travel Agent that is left at the end of our cruise is refunded to our credit card on file. We'll now be sailing on Princess again and want to know how Travel Agent OBC is handled. Is it considered non-refundable or would any unused balance be returned to our credit card on file? Thanks!
  4. Question... What is the current turnaround time for receiving the cards. We have a cruise booked with a final payment date of 7/1. We bought our monthly allotment for June and would like to buy more in July. The ones we bought in June were delayed 4-5 days. I think it was related to a AARP / Princess system issues. Now that the issue appears to be resolved, are you receiving the cards at the time of purchase? Thanks!
  5. I spoke with Cover-More today and they did say that the policy they issue when you purchased your vacation though someone other then Costco, excludes the Cancel For Any Reason, and the Evacuation is reduced to $500,000.
  6. We have a 14-night Transatlantic Cruise booked on the Apex with Select Dining. I made reservations at each the four included restaurants for nights 1 - 4. I wanted to try each of them before making additional reservations for nights 5 - 14. I just checked and now for days 5 - 14 the only available times are 9:00pm and 9:30pm. We prefer to eat around 7:00pm. What happens if we show up with no reservations, will we have to wait until 9:00pm? I'm familiar with them providing pagers, but I'm trying to determine the wait time without a reservation. This is our first time on an Edge Class Ship and we're new to the reservation requirement for the dining rooms. We previous have sailed Horizon, Millenium and Solstice Class Ships and reservations were not required. Thanks!
  7. I did a little more testing from a PC. I've determined if I clear the browser cache / cookies it seems to work using a different location via the VPN. Not sure what will happen on the ship, but I'll give it a try. JIm, also thank you for providing the instructions on changing the input selection on the TV. I was going to bring a universal remote, but I like your method better. PS: I will have the premium Wifi..
  8. Wow, thanks Jim for all of the information. This was very helpful!
  9. That should be Streaming although Steaming might be fun as well.
  10. I use YouTube TV at home for my TV Channels, etc. They only allow viewing within the United States. I do have Surfshark VPN, but Youtube TV identifies it as a VPN / Proxy Service and denies access. I would like the option to access Youtube TV on an upcoming Transatlantic Crossing. My question is, does anyone know when using Shipboard WiFi, what location (IP Address) is assigned? Will it appear that I'm in the US? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Here is the URL in case you need to access it. COVID-19 Cruise Health & Safety Protocols | Celebrity Cruises
  12. Don't forget to take the Captain's Club discount assuming you're a member. The discount will be based on your membership level.
  13. I have disputed my CC charges as well and have ordered the Abbott BinaxNOW. I guess I should have gone this route in the first place. If EMed disappears like OnPoint, at least I can plead my case with Celebrity that I followed their protocol and order kits from their recommended vendor, etc.
  14. Thanks for the additional testing sites. I would have to agree with CHEZMAYLOU, that since countries and cruise lines no longer require a Supervised Covid Test except for Transatlantic and Transpacific cruises, that these businesses will not be able to stay open with the reduced volume. I agree that Abbott BinaxNOW / EMed Test are more expensive, but if they go under, I might have a chance with Celebrity since they provided the recommendation and link. The last thing I want to happen is, be in Rome and unable to test and not be allowed to board the ship.
  15. I think we had better be looking for alternative testing.
  16. @Jim_lain Thanks again for checking. I tried calling again today and checked their Web Site. No answer on the phone and the site is still down. We're leaving for Italy on October 23, so I guess I had better get onboard with plan 'B'. I was going to test at a local Pharmacy in Italy, but I'm hearing they're closing down many of their test sites. I guess plan 'C' is to order with expedited shipping the EMed Tests and go that route. I'm open to any other suggestions. I'm just looking for one that will be there 2 days before the cruise. It really shouldn't have to be this hard. 😀
  17. Wow, not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for sharing.
  18. Do you have a link regarding their issues?
  19. This is a transatlantic cruise, and a supervised test is still required. A self test would have been nice.
  20. Interesting, their site was working a couple of hours ago. You're right, the site is now down.
  21. By chance would you be willing to share with me what the upgrade cost was per day? Thanks!
  22. We'll be sailing on the Apex Transatlantic on October 29, 2022. We'll be staying in Rome 4 days before the cruise. We'll need to complete COVID Tests before we board the ship. I purchase Supervised COVID Tests from OnPoint Testing. I scheduled the appointment and thought we were all set. Today I received a Meeting Cancelation E-Mail with no explanation, etc. I've been trying to contact them via phone for the last two hour with no success. The calls go directly on hold and then eventually disconnect. I can view my original order on their website, but you can't see scheduled appointments. Has anyone used OnPoint Testing recently, do you know if they're still in business? I'm trying to figure if I should dispute the charge with my Credit Card Co and go to plan "B".
