Hi fellow cruisers. Can anyone advise or comment on stern cabins 9258,9260,9660 9658. I see the balcony is very much larger but concerned that it may be some kind of obstruction, noise from outside windjammer 2 decks above or a lot of vibration. Have been on this class but not in stern cabin. Thanks in advance for any info. Bob & Nancy

I saw the same increase after that sale. I have two booked and was looking at the Brilliance for april. Agency I deal with showed same price but offered a on board credit but no tips. Checked on moch booking and loads of D2 and for a week when sail was on the same 15 were still offered. The price from Royal has gone up, the same cabins still on site, but now my agency offers more obc and also tips for D2. If these rooms haven't sold with the sale, they are not going to be gobbled up at the new high prices. There will be another sale forthcoming.

The port authority stated in their spring publication that they would also be using terminal 10. The new terminal will also be used during the week for visiting ships as it will have six shopping areas. Web site is http://WWW.portcanaveral.com if you want to see more info.

Thanks for the review. We had a nice cruise on the Dream out of Canaveral before she left. We both Have sailed Carnival many times since the early nineties but I think whoever came up with the decor in the dinning room has reached and all time low. Looks like they took the old 16oz plastic drink cups they used a few years ago and nailed them to the wall.

I carry a copy off dd-214 & also discharge and have never had to show it. One time the check in attendant said the discount given is up to Royal and she doesn't know anything about it and doesn't need any documentation to check in

Used it several times but only tee shirts, men's underwear, jeans, socks. All get washed together in same mesh bags comes back folded but greyish tone, feeling rough dry. generally don't use service. Bob

We were on the Freedom east april 20th and were three hours late leaving San Juan. They had drivers in the water all afternoon and when the announcement of delay was made , it stated just routine cleaning of the bottom. Makes sense

Sorry you had a bad trip.
We were on her two weeks before and had a wonderful cruise. All lines have cut a few corners now but had sailed Freedom before and booked again 12-7. We had a great dining room experience, also ate at chops and really didn't have any bad experiences We always weigh the bad and the good like any other vacation and in our 40 cruises the good always comes out on top. Just some info. We had a space launch canceled yesterday , a re supply to space station, now due to lift off Friday afternoon. We have a 40% rain chance being given on our local weather channel so could be re booked for sat or sunday. Will advise. If people are here a day before at hotel or on the ship will have great view. I live in central florida and can see shots. Bob

We are on the Freedom this Sunday with stop in San Juan. This change on Freedom has only happened three times since Jan. We have been to both many times but mostly San Juan in late afternoon and evening so we are looking forward to day hours to visit both Forts Bob

Thank you so much for this info.... Why does the glass have a yellow look? This will be my fourth time on the her (2006, 2011 and 2012) but never this cabin. I was concerned mostly about it being in the shade, but then again, it will be August, and shade could be good :)
We were thinking of booking a Jr. suite too (need the double points to make diamond) but went ahead with the balcony again. Will definitely watch after final payment and maybe prices will drop, then we can upgrade...
I noticed you are in The Villages. I have friends that live there. I've visited a few times and love it! They live in Amelia....
m glad could help. I do have two photos but don't know how to download then on critic. If you want to send e mail along I will send the two. Taken of balcony from inside showing funiture ,glass etc. Bob
