  1. I usually just uber it. I know there is a light rail station near the hotel and some people like to use it to get there from the airport.
  2. I am kicking this report off while we sit at the Kansas City airport waiting to board our Alaska Air flight to Seattle. This trip will be a multi-generational group and we are celebrating a few different milestones with it. My mom turns 60 on 7/16, I turned 40 a bit earlier this year and my daughter graduated high school in May. My mom and her partner (60s), Me and my GF (40s) and my 2 kids (18 &13) make up the group. Some of you may have read my report from the 2nd Alskan cruise after start up last year and if so you may remember that my wife passed away on a cruise ship in March of 2020. Well after 2 years I have started seeing someone and this will be the 1st big trip with her so we will see how it goes! Since we are celebrating on this trip we have booked a Pinnacle Suite and Neptune Suite for our group and we are ready to be spoiled! We have a private whale watching excursion planned in Juneau with Jayleen and the ZipRider planned in Icy Strait. No formal plans expect exploring on our own in Sitka and we will probably hit the lumberjack show and definitely creek street in Ketchikan. As for Victoria we will see how we are feeling when we get there. It is my mom and her partner's 1st cruise and only 2nd time they have ever flown so this should be interesting. In Seattle we (me, gf, kids) will be staying at the Mayflower Park hotel and my mom will be at the Inn at the Market. We plan on not doing anything tonight when we get in, but will explore Seattle a bit tomorrow. Assuming the internet cooperates I plan on posting multiple times per day with updates.
  3. There used to be deals during boarding day, but I have not seen those in a few years. They also elimated the couple's deal earlier this year. Best price is to now buy online prior to the cruise. Must be at least 18 years old.
  4. I agree. On all of my cruises the space was rarely used by people. Only time I ever saw it busy was when they were showing the NFL games in there last fall.
  5. Thanks for sharing! Have a great trip and I will be following right behind you next week!
  6. Can anyone that has sailed on the Eurodam during this Alaska season let me know what night of the week Billboard Onboard is dark?
  7. I will be sailing in a Pinnacle on the Eurodam in a little under two weeks. 1st time in the Pinnacle, but have done a neptune several times. Will gladly provide feedback once on board.
  8. Why you input your HAL booking number in verifly it pulls up all guests on that booking, but you add only the ones you want to that specific verifly account. So in your case just add you and not your friend. No problem at all.
  9. I always get my kids the quench package. It works just like the standard beverage package adults get except it is non-alcoholic. They can order mocktails, soda, water, juices, smoothies etc... from any of the bars/dining venues on the ship.
  10. I went to purchase the couples pass for my upcoming like I always do and it was only showing the single pass online. I called HAL and they informed me that the spa has decided to quit offering couples passes and you just have to by individual passes for each person now. This was probably around 45 days ago. I have not been on a ship since then but will follow up to see if couple's passes are still available once onboard my July 16 cruise.
  11. I really, really like the wok-seared lobster. I know it is an upcharge item, but it has been the best thing I have eaten on my last 2 cruises. Wish I had never tried it, other items are amazing too and already included in the cost and I was happy with them, but it's now like an addiction for me. Also the spicy scallop roll from Nami is delicious.
  12. It is a basic pullout bed and pretty much what you would expect from such. You can ask for an egg-crate topper to be added to it and that does help some.
  13. Awesome to hear. I will be in a PS on the Eurodam in July for an Alaskan cruise and we are very looking forward to that balcony!
