On Reflection at the moment, MDR is not great with little choice. Choosing to go mainly to Buffet and specialty dining and not let it spoil the cruise! I was on Royal Enchantment of the Seas in May and thought food was quite poor compared to last pre Covid cruise on Infinity (food was excellent back then), but choice was better than Reflection.

Our Enchantment cruise in May was similar, with lots of suites available and not many balconies. We bid just over min €260 for OV balcony and were upgraded- it was a cabin for 4 but only pay for 2 to upgrade, it was great value and lovely location.

Hi - apologies if this has been asked before. We are arriving into BCN/El Prat airport Barcelona at 10:30pm the night before our cruise. Any recommendations for a convenient, air conditioned hotel for the 1 night stay? Obviously ease of transfers from airport to hotel & then to port is important since we won't have time to do much else Thanks!

I think I am on the same Reflection cruise, departing Sept 2nd with the menu above. Disappointed to read this thread about food on Celebrity. Our only previous Celebrity cruise was in 2019 with our teenage sons and everyone loved the food and portion sizes in MDR. We sailed on Royal this summer and we’re v disappointed with the MDR food, choice wasn’t bad but portions were tiny in some cases and steaks small and tough. For this cruise, day 10 is the only good menu, including Prime Rib, but it is a 9 night cruise!! Any hope that menus will change? It will be 2 adults only this time so will go to speciality restaurants a few times I think which is what they want.

Hi all - We are booked on Reflection leaving Barcelona on Sept 2nd. We have an overnight stay in Livorno in the middle of the cruise and would be grateful if anyone knows what time we need to back on ship (for those not planning to stay ashore). Thanks

We had a bid just over the minimum €250 per person for a balcony accepted for Enchantment of the Seas recently (sailed May 29th) - it is an older ship and seemed to have a lot of availability. I didn’t expect to be upgraded with a low bid. We were in an Oceanview originally

Hi All, Our bid was accepted for a balcony cabin on Enchantment cruise on May 29th (just over minimum bid), and I now realise that we will have a double sofa bed instead of 2 pullmans (in the Oceanview room), we are travelling with older teenage sons. Would anyone be familar with what these are like, size/comfort? I have looked online with no luck. Thanks!

Hi - I have a question about “all aboard” times. We are due to be in port in Livorno from 7am to 7 pm on June 3rd on the Enchantment. Is 7 the time we will be required on board or will it be earlier? I am considering a tour which returns to the port shuttle stop at 5:30pm. It feels a bit tight but we will be in Luca first and then Pisa so I feel we could always get a ttaxi or train back if there was a problem. What do more experienced cruisers think? Thanks!

Thanks for the info that passports not required to select a time for check in on the app. One of my son’s passports will expire during the cruise and I thought I would need all passports to choose a time. I am a few days after check-in opened and earliest available was 12, which is fine for us, hopefully lines won’t be too long. One question I have - on the app I selected a time for a “wellness check”, is that the same as a check-in time? Thanks Deirdre

Yes, I think that is it. I am based in Ireland but I have booked in the past on a US site and this year with a German travel agency. They are both cheaper that anything I see for UK or Ireland.

Thanks very much for your review, great to hear you had a good experience. We have a cruise on Enchantment booked for May, but I was getting a bit concerned reading all the negative comments about RC food and menu changes. One quick question - how were the portion sizes in general? We have 2 young adult sons/ teens who loved MDR food on our last cruise (on Celebrity pre Covid) and I was concerned to hear portions were small in MDR. I know it is possible to order a second entree but sounds awkward!
